Im a California architect and hes making every mistake that nouveau riche clients make. Mostly not sticking to the plan and schedule and trying to go crazy on his first house. It's a monument to his grandisement and KZread riches. I thought he was a travel vlogger. His subscribers aren't very interested in this folly. This makes him out to be like a newbie professional athlete who gets millions quickly and blows it on ostentation. We make a lot of money on these clients but also steer and keep them on course. Its very worthwhile. God only knows where his architect is.

I hate to be a downer because on the one hand, I respect people taking risks and doing something different, but on the other hand, I think this is a vanity project. It's way too ambitious for a first build with no experience. Reel back the complexity and keep it simple. If you manage to actually pull off those current designs (which is doubtful), the maintenance alone will be a nightmare. It's a home, not a prop for your instagram.

@@samsulbakri8062 it's relative. i live in the states. as a gardener, my hourly rate is 65.00. watching these crews, they don't wear safety gear, they don't wear shoes, which is indicative of how much they're paid. maybe you live in bali? maybe you know the hourly rates these crews offloading the marble are paid? maybe you know where they rank for bali. typically speaking, crews doing labor tend to be paid way less because payors can get away with it. i highly doubt christian is paying them directly. it's more likely he pays a monthly fee to the contractors and the contractors pay the workers direct. and the contractors will always pay the labor the least they can get away with. and be cautious about how you read and interpret. i didn't say they are cheap. i said carried in by cheap labor, which means they are the lowest paid of everyone on this project. the designers from europe are paid huge amounts of money via commissions just for saying, "look at this," or "this stone is rare and will look great." they're get paid a percentage of the total stone order, or appliances, sinks, tubs, and whatever else is ordered through them. supervisors, managers, contractors, foremen are all paid higher salaries regardless if they work 35 hours, 40 hours, or 50 hours per week. whereas the labor force who are paid by the hour, also known as wages. so all the holidays, the labor isn't paid cuz they're not working. anyone earning a salary is paid even when not working. again, cheap labor is cheap labor, and refers to earnings, not the people

I can explain how the process works in Bali. He wasnt smart enough to give time constraints on how long things should take. Plus no penalty if over those limits. So of course the contractor wants this project to last as long as possible. He makes more money!!! If given a certain dead line with a penalty attached if not completed, he would be more concerend going over 6 months time frame. LeBlanc is a walking ATM, and is gullible enough to believe all the "yes" men he has hired. Rainy season in one month and then all building will stop.. 1 or 2 months is normal...6 months is laughable

Near a cliffline West of the island with a tourist Marbo Cave about a 100step down to a ocean pool cave and a awesome golf coures that is 19 holes but one site hits golf balls across the ocean next hole to aim at. I'm no golfer but my X was, I'd just drive the buggy to explore the unbelievable golf course & its amenities on the course. This will be visually appealing, as there is much texture colour and shape. It is fundamentally not eco-friendly. To anyone who is interested in this video and creating a beautiful space. They key is found in creating a natural space, with natural materials that require little maintenance and fundamentally as little energy to create. The man hours and manner in which the materials have been used is wasteful, it is an approach that has been learned by this young man by travelling to the most expensive and unique resorts. Which are neither real or in deep contact with nature, a generalization I know, but true. I wish you the best on your project and hope you keep learning how to best use the earth to create welcoming and beautiful homes. It's a mighty task.

The holiday season is upon us once again. Have you made sure you're financially prepared for it? One of my key strategies this year has been ensuring a continuous flow of passive income. Vacations have become much more enjoyable for me, given my natural inclination to be a workaholic. Knowing that there's still something generating income has helped me strike a balance between leisure and work. This year, I ventured into copy-paste trading, and I can't express enough gratitude for its impact. August saw $25k, September $35k, and October $29k. I can already sense that this Christmas will be unlike any other. It's a unique and intriguing feeling to realize I don't have to exert myself as much and still earn more. I'm still adjusting to this new reality.

Absolutely, I totally get that sentiment. Sometimes vacations can seem like a splurge, but the happiness they bring outweighs the costs. It's just so much more fulfilling. Still, having something productive going on during that time adds an extra layer of satisfaction. How do you handle this balance?

because it's surrounded by trees doesn't make it well connected to nature. this villa is the exact opposite of well connected to nature. they have been all over europe shopping for this build, importing stone for walls, sinks, faucets, light fixtures, furniture creating a massive carbon footprint especially after including the flights for the shopping trips, then flying to bali to change everything every 4 to 6 months. he bought land that was subdivided for profit, which disconnects nature, and once he started building, so did everyone else around him, removing nature and building walls of concrete. the exact opposite of well connected to the nature.
