Hi! I decided to create a second channel "Sounds of Nature by ALEX", on which I will upload videos with sounds of nature. I love nature very much, and I like all natural sounds: birds singing, water murmuring, rain noise, wind noise. These sounds calm me down. If you have trouble sleeping or you just want to enjoy the sounds of nature, then visit my new channel. Today we will listen to the sounds of a hand stream. Looking ahead, I will say that it is here that I would like to build a small hunting hut. A magnificent quiet place where the water murmurs and you can retire with nature. Enjoy watching! kzread.info/dash/bejne/q6irvJSrkbXSZKw.html

I'm finally watching from the beginning instead of the end. It's wonderful watching you build! Thank you for working so hard and filming it for us! ❤
This is a super idea! A group of people should get together and build a few along the Appalachian trail. Stock it with essential supplies for the slowest of hikers or for anyone that might get lost. I hear some people prefer to hike it alone. Each one built should be larger than the last, not everyone will be alone. Now that would be something I would contribute time and money to. If everyone does not abuse it, that would be excellent for emergencies. If enough get built then less for people to carry. Plus if all goes well, other trails can copy that idea. Maybe we can reduce the missing 411 people. Also add them to trail markers and GPS’s. Pass that idea along. If it ever gets off the ground have other ways to donate. I do not do “go fund me” . It bothers me greatly when I do not know if all funds are received. Please. Please, some one start organizing. I pray this to happen.
I've seen a few episodes later on. Decided to go back to the beginning and see the whole of it! It's fun. Thanks for sharing and God bless you 🙏😇🙌😊😉

Here right now. Did the same thing. 😊
I don’t know how to explain it, but there is an incredible amount of pride that comes when a notch you made sets down on a post you set. I got a little emotional when that first cross beam set down.
你好,我來自台灣的新觀眾,很棒的影片讓人沉迷,我會繼續觀看下去
Robinson Crusoe! 👍
drill holes in the posts you set the house on. Fill with generous amount of linseed oil. Cap them off and bury them. will last 50+ years
I watched your most recent one today. I’ve Just started watching from the beginning. ☺️🏴
Loving your series, Alex. I partly grew up in BC, Canada (I'm British) where there was a lot of this sort of stuff going on (albeit more treehouses than dugouts), so your videos bring back many happy memories of log cabins in the wild. I note one of the logs you are using looks as if at some period in the past, the tree was hit by lightning. I guess that's the clear advantage of a dugout compared to a treehouse, you have less of a chance of being struck down by Thor!
Amazing job!
I just found this channel and I am completely mesmerized! My husband and I call someone for every little thing we need done in our house....I am blown away by what you can do!
I am new to your channel. This is amazing and so relaxing to watch! I will be watching them in order. It's like a little fairy house!

I'm jealous. That soft sandwich dirt looks like EASY digging. I'm trying to build something similar right now, but the dirt has soo many roots in it, and its actually really difficult to dig

If you wanted to get the boats level on top. I learned this trick in Mexico. Take clear tubing long enough to go up each post, and across the ground. Fill it most of the way with water. Use some string to attach it to the posts, and what ever height you want the posts to be. It'll show you wats level. Waternalway levels itself. It's a great way to level things like this.

Hi Alex , I was recommended your channel by YT and I love it! I am from Australia so it is lovely to see a different way of life, I am watching I think form the start. Take care and thank you :)
Reminds me of playing The Forest. Any cannibals about?
Putting them posts in the ground reminds me of the TV show time team. Back in the day THIS is how they did it.
So far I have just one question....what kind of shovel is that?
Great Start. I know I am a little late but it was great!
Watching the beginning of your dugout. I've seen the later videos multiple times but it makes me wonder something. How did you protect those first logs in the ground from rot?
❤️

Thought you had more videos, about other than this underground log cabin???
Hi! How long this tarpaulin will protect the wood from the ground, from the humidity of the ground? And what is this producer, name? Thank you!
hola muy buen trabajo pero te falto hacerle algun tipo de tratamiento a los postes que van clavados en la tierra para que no se pudran la base que esta en contacto directo con la tierra.
Nice nice bro

hi...im from philippines, i just wondering when you starting to build a cabin ,do you ask for permit or authorization for your project? because here in philippines you need a permit to that amazing project...and most of land here are already owned... 😁😁

Cant dig like that here. It's just rock and dirt that acts like rock...
I'd love to build something like this buuuut the soil around here is maybe a few inches of dirt then rocks and clay on clay on clay layers it take me a whole summer just to dig the hole then wait for winter to pass then start the construction.....I'll just watch you do the work

Just found your channel. Great 1st video. Thank you for the obvious hard work you’ve put into it.
I’d like to know your story. Why have you decided to do what you’re doing. It’s very interesting
Just an idea...I know it involves a lot more work in the beginning but you should've made it much bigger because after you get your walls, door, bed, fireplace/cooking unit, etc in there, it takes away from the actual living area that you'll end up with in the end. Most folks don't think about that up front and it ends up smaller than what they really wanted, just saying.
