Although I am not going to use it as a character background, this is amazing!

Did I forget to show that? My mistake. Sorry. The brick wall behind Dogmeat in the thumbnail is the actual printed piece from the tutorial. I think I printed that one at .1mm layer height, but it was printed with one of the sides of the brick laying on the print bed.

When the second layer of brick was created, the offset didn't take into account the mortar, so the offset is skewed left rather than center

great video i literally fallowed every step to the end and will make everything in brick like this cause i just started in 3d design i used to be in construction so your math on how tall and wide bricks are is off a brick on its side like when you lay them in construction are about 7.5 long or wide and 2.5 tall in inches not counting about a half inch of morter you said a quarter 0f inch tall i think you just missed the . in your notes like 2.5 or 25 as a quarter either way 4 high is a foot and 3 long is 2 feet and the average story wall is 13 or 14 feet high and how ever long with many variations none of which being a quarter inch... in all sincerity thanks alot though great tutorial .

Thanks for the details on wall sizes. That will be helpful when modeling something else along these lines.

@@kennethturney9203 No problem. I tend to jump past some of those kind of steps quickly. It can be quite easy to miss that kind of thing.
