Building Animatronic Cosplay Armor (Pharah from Overwatch)⚡️

Ойын-сауық

These motorized rocket pods are a part of my Pharah from Overwatch cosplay. I spent months developing this mechanism, 3D model that I printed, as well as the electronics and software for the animations. I'm incredibly happy with how this turned out - so check out this video and see how animatronics work IRL!

It's amazing to see the amount of small perfect details you include, that most people will never even notice or think about. It really heightens your entire project, I'm sure Pharah would be proud! 😉 And I love your goofy chuckles when things turn out the way you wanted 😂 great job! I can't wait to see it in real life 😁

I'm so happy to see your videos back, I'm following this build on IG from the beginning now and I just love all the process. I'm amazed by your Fusion 360 skills, I'm just not getting the hang of this software. Do you have any tutorials that you could recommend that are a little more advanced and not start at the basics, but are also good with explaining?

Aw thanks! About Fusion - yes... its very different from Blender and other more 'popular-cosplay' 3D software... I started out with some basic-101-tier guides here on youtube, and once i understood how sketches, constraints etc. work - started tinkering with things and googling videos for exact actions that I didn't know how to perform, even though I knew what needed to happen to achieve the result I desired (f.x. 'sweeping' a profile along a path to make a groove along a body) - and eventually you don't even notice how you become more fluent in modelling even a bit more tricky shapes!
