The most over-engineered Motorized Wings! (Pharah from Overwatch Cosplay)

Ойын-сауық

The mechanical engineering behind the fastest animatronic wings yet! These took me 2 years to build and I'm so happy to finally reveal them. In this video I focus on the structural/mechanical part - the various improvements over the servo-based Pharah Cosplay version 1.0, and the problems I ran into while converting/re-designing the entire mechanism to work with worm-drive motors. I hope this answers a lot of questions you might have had!!

I appreciate that man! This was such a big part of my life over those months, it's both sad, joyous and relieving to be finally "done" with it. Minor details aside (you can improve things ad infinitum) it's great!

Do you have an education that helps you with designing stuff like this? Do you make everything in your own shop or do you go to some public 'maker-shop' to use machines and tools? How do you get the money for materials and machinery needed? Do you have a job that's not related to animatronics? and again I have to say I am extremely impressed with your work. Honestly!

Your wish is my command! I have some smaller projects in mind, and maybe more 'behind the scenes' vids - I think the thought process can be just as interesting as the "physical", crafting start-to-finish story
