Building and Soldering a Slot Car Chassis Kit - Part 2
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is the second part of building a new #slotcar #chassis
The chassis has been EDM #wirecut so all the parts are cut very accurately.
In this part I finish #soldering all the parts together.

I used to race at Lucky Bob’s. I still stop by his raceway to hang out.
Please make more videos on brushless slot cars!
James I only recently found your channel and I’m really impressed with your content, so much i decided to ad a JK Lola LMP car to my collection got it yesterday and very excited about it 💪🏻🏁 I I have been binging on your videos trying to learn as much as possible before I take it out of the box as it is my first metal chassis type car I have ever owned so it is a bit new to me as all my other cars are RevoSlot NSR Slot it and so on, thank you for all the information and tips it is a great help 🏁👌🏻🇬🇧
Really like soldering them from the bottom. Never thought of that. It’s why I never really bought the unassembled ones. Great tips thanks!
went to look at geeting back into slot car racing only to find out my local track sold their track and all the other tracks withn an hour all closed down. It sucks how this sport died out so much as it was so fun.
What do you clean the acid flux off the chassis with, when you are done to prevent corrosion? Love this series, its good to see you doing things with brushless. Thanks!
Are you making any more videos?
Thanks!
Thanks

Thank you very much 🙏🏻
Love your channel…so much great information!
Awesome solder tip I have same one and love it
You try the pinecil soldering iron it is up to 65 watts and a really good deal. The size of the iron makes intricate work much easier. Enjoying this new series!

I have a few different size tips for different work if needed but I tend to use the 5mm on almost everything except soldering circuit boards 😁

Gracias!!! Excelente!!!!
Thanks bud
Haven't seen you posting now just wondering if you took a break ? 😊
It will be great when you’re finished if you can give us a material list on building the car so we could follow along and build one
the motor you are going to use is brush less
What is wet and dry paper? Sorry my ignorance. Do you mean sand paper?
How about a video on how to solder shunt wires on motor
CT.. I'm the guy who talked to you about an HO scale armature balancing machine, I'll get one soon. I'll talk about that later. Hay,do slot car armature's have to ride level? I can't find anything on this. And if their not is the armature out of balance?
Also what grit wet and dry paper do you use? Thanks

I use 600 grit for getting rid of big boobs of solder and 900 grit for final sanding to get everything smooth.
How much is a chassis worth? And where is it bought? What engine does it have?
motor brushless
Thanks!
