This video has all the hallmarks of Jackman excellence: awesome project and build, fantastic editing, great soundtrack, magic clamp removal, Jackman clones, power carving, whimsical humor, uncomfortable eye contact, current status... All it's missing is a surreptitious fart, but the gratuitous butt shot made up for it. I follwed the adventure on IG, but somehow, this made it look like there were even more fillets to deal with. Not to mention an ungodly amount of epoxy. All in all, it was a super fun build and loved seeing it all come together here. Thanks for sharing!

Just missing a fart and some pallet wood! haha I'm drowning in empty epoxy jugs over here
Absolutely loved helping out with this one and seeing your talent bring it all together- you did an amazing job, it's such a beauty!!

Thanks again! Without Cpt Mills there I don't think I ever would have finished this project
I've watched a couple dozen videos on building this camper from CLC. The production value of this video is top notch. Congratulations
That was quite a build! Looks like such a fun little camper! Nice job, Paul

So much wood and epoxy, yet no river table in sight. This did not fully say 'Arbortech' until you carved the outside. Excellent work!
I'm impressed by how versatile peanut butter can be. Awesome build!
So awesome to finally see this build! Came out rad! Also, I'm looking forward to our team destroying yours at the TB build off 😘
That was fun to watch. Lots of neat techniques that could be applied to other builds too. As usual your musical selection was 🔥.

That's what I thought too! One of the reasons I took the project on, and I learned even more during the build of the project than I even expect and I've noticed it work it's way into my workflow already
A fantastic job Paul. I have to confess that I had my doubts about the project in the beginning but am thrilled with the result. Such detail and beautifully documented. We will be proud to exhibit your workmanship at shows throughout the US and Canada.
Absolutely, one of the most spectacular Tear Drop Campers I have ever seen! You did fantastic work and created a stunning piece of Art! The craftmanship used in your woodworking skills is second to none. I know this was a kit but, without your attention and patience to detail, it would have never turned out so amazing!!!
5:52 up to 6:25 segments like this: your videography and editing + adding the music just gets better and better! Awesome job, Paul!

There were so many little bits in this video, I had to check to see what you were talking about haha. Thanks for the love!! The best part about that scene was me having to climb in and out of the camper over and over to keep resetting the camera angle 😂

Those things are amazing, I don't even know why I have them, but I'm so glad I do!
Amazing craftsmanship! These are such cool little teardrop campers.
Brilliant! And having worked in a boatyard, yes, it is 95% sanding- we used to get through metres and metres of it!
Really nice. There's a thing called a CARLA Cargo. Battery powered trailer and could be towed by an e-bike. I think this design could be adapted to fit on that. Might have to build it out of PVC pipe for bones and foam board with glass & epoxy for skin. I'd have to experiment, but I think it could be strong enough to do the job. The CARLA can only accommodate 200kg (440lbs) and you'd need some of that weight to be cargo (food, water, battery, charging), so making the camper as light as possible is a must. The overall shape of this wooden one is spot on, though. Build it out over the wheels onto the fenders and I bet you'd get to a trimmer version of this one.

Ohhhh that's super cool!! I actually talked with CLC about a one person version of the camper, like something that could be towed behind a motorcycle. A battery powered single person camper would be pretty sweet, especially something with an aero shape like this. I'd love a little cargo trailer for my bike for grocery trips or things like that.
You easily have the best building edits around, thanks again for a quality video. I am always fascinated when videos like this only have a few thousand views?! The algorithm gods are screwing with you big time!
I saw this camper today at a wood show in Atlanta. It was the highlight of my visit. Reminds me of those vintage Chris-Craft mahogany boats.
Great project, I'm glad you're back to building things I might want to try to build myself one day. Not to say I might not need a giant ping pong racket at some point in the future.

I read this first as "I'm glad you're back to building things" and I was about to say you just saw 3 months of my life in this video which is why it seems like I'm not building things haha! You're right though, I have a lot of fun with he useless projects (I don't expect anyone to try to build their own hockey sticks out of pallet wood like me), but I'm trying to interspurse the useless projects with useful ones. My next couple projects are actually useful too, believe it or not 😂

It looks amazing and I'd love to do one myself. All that work building it and its still $10,000+ is a hard pass though. That kinda money you can make something completely custom for a little more work.

Awesome build Paul. I happened to run into your Grandmother just before you came through Shelburne Falls Mass. I live up the road and saw this lady with Jackman stickers on her car. I asked how she had the stickers and that I was a fan. She told me she was your Gran and you were on your way through testing out the camper. That seems like one heck of a build, and deadline! Good job all around. Maybe I'll run into you one day on a visit to Western Mass. Cheers!
This is so awesome to watch!
Magnifico the best work 👏👏👏👏

Been watching your show on the Makers Channel. You make some interesting things. I am a USCG MKC (ret). Tell your wife I said Semper Paratus. Started woodworking myself in the past few years. Making small items for my wife and sisters mainly. Hopefully I can start doing some bigger projects soon. Keep up the good work.
Having just finished teaching 7 people with no DIY experience how to repair and infuse fiberglass this was oddly relaxing
This one is the closest shape to the one I am in the middle of building. Totally different construction though! It is a bicycle camper so I used as much rlaminated rigid foam as possible. Shell interior is about 7x3x4. Plenty of room to sit up. Not really enough room for more than one to sleep though. Mine weighs only about 80lbs "dry"...but it is only ever gonna see 15ish KPH. I do plan to take it on trails though so I hope it holds up.
After watching this video you will have a good idea how much work you will put in building it.
