The video series has been a great in constructing the cabin on my 44-inch Vic Smeed Vivacity model. I encountered some problems with the 22 windows and the cabin top construction, but now it's all sorted out. Appreciate the help.👍 Posting some build pictures on my community page.

Wow! I built what appears to be that same model back in the early 1960s. Made it into radio control with a surfer being towed from a string in the back. Still have it in my basement. Back then, in the US anyway, my dad had to send away for a license for the RC. Servo was so crude that when you turned right it was all or nothing, and it fish tailed because it had to cycle through going left. It was still fun though. Yours is beautiful, came out much better than mine, but I was about 10 years old. So glad I found this video.

Tough to get a really good polish on timber, but you nailed it, so to speak. Beautiful boat, when it's finished, it might be far to nice to put it in the water. I love that silver strip you ironed on, it added a fantastic feature. Is that available from RC model shops ? I've got uses for that stuff.

If that happened they would need to be sanded and polished using polishing compounds.

You will need to stain it with a wood stain.
