PROJECT UPDATE! 4 years later... • FINALLY Finishing My T...
A very special thank you to Diablo Tools www.diablotools.com/ and IsoTunes bit.ly/2MgMXvg for sponsoring this video!
My best friend April Wilkerson and I built the outer shell of a Tiny House in the woods in just SEVEN DAYS with only a few battery operated tools. We carried everything into the forest by hand and built this 8x16 design we came up with ourselves.

haha glad im not the only construction worker who doesn't care if housewrape is upside down. the bosses must get incentive to encourage it rite side up..love the work,,
You two are a force to be reckoned with. I was in construction for 20 yrs. Nothing makes me more happy than women who are so capable. I know it's only making frames, floors and a single side sloped roof but there are millions of men out there who cannot do this so it's a big high five to all the women who can. Brilliant work ladies.

This is what I been telling my hole family! Let’s get land and build our tiny homes as we desire. I want to make this happen for myself , my parents, and my children. And my future children 💕💜 With amazing veggies, fruits, and fresh eggs 🥚
I must have watched 40 or more DIY videos from all these construction dudes just trying to decide and learn what type of shed, foundation, and design I wanted. I spent hours on KZread. Then in about 5 minutes of watching these two gals nail up this little house, I instantly new what I needed to do!. Unbelievable!! Thanks ladies. Well done. 👍👍

This is very inspiring. I enjoyed watching the step by step progress. There’s something about watching women do the build that gets me motivated to do my own build. Your mom gave you excellent advice....choose your friends wisely. So important in how your life turns out. You girls are too cool for words! ❤️
Loved hearing about your relationship with your mom, and how it inspired you to create your new home 🏡. You have some amazing friends behind your belt, thank you April 💕
April is so skillful. Perfect team work. well done ladies. Looking forward to seeing the interior setting of this tiny house.
Nice job, you two work well together. I loved hearing you talk about your mother, I got a little misty eyed and wistful; having lost my mother four years ago. I still miss my parents everyday. I would encourage everyone to spend as much time as you can with those you love. Your mother’s advice to you is sound and I am sure that your mother is going to be thrilled with the tiny house that you are building with your love. Bravo and applause.

Just retiring having been in the industry all my life and I found this video inspiring. Well done girls, fantastic job!
Great work. People generally take houses for granted. If only people understand the pain and effort that goes into building a project as small as a cabin like this one.
This such a big inspiration im planning in the future to build houses in Guatemala. You guys did a really lovely job! 💓💓💗💗
Such a nice affirmation of your Mom. Warms a parent’s heart to hear that from their daughter. Looking forward to seeing it finished and photos of your Mom staying there! Blessings on you and April in all your endeavours.

Wow, awesome job ladies! You made it look so simple! Lol! In hindsight as an older, disabled woman, I regret not having built the 600 sq ft house of my dreams about 5 years ago, when I had the money. After watching y'all in action with your hard working, positive DIY attitudes, you've given me hope that I may still achieve my dreams in the future! Thanks!
This is so cool. This really reaffirms my thoughts of April. She's an inspiration to me and it's really cool to see her passing on her skills to others, in the real world. I swear she could end up on tv some day.
You ladies did an incredible job! I'm a 56 y/o woman and have always has this desire to build... My dad built homes (contractor) but lost him 24 yrs ago. You two together are a force of nature. Great job, looked like both of you had a good time together. I would think filming and putting together these KZread videos would increase the completion time by a third or more on each project. Totally awesome! My Gf's daughter and I are going to build a 16x10 tiny house on the other side of our front deck starting this Saturday when she comes home from college for the summer so she's not crashing on our pull out couch when she comes home for long weekends, holidays and summers while she's in school and when she comes home after she graduates to work. We live in Northwest Arizona and she goes to school at UNLV which is an hour and a half away. We decided on 16x 10 because she doesn't need a huge place, just somewhere to sleep, hang out and do her school work and a toilet room. were not putting a big door in hers like you did but we are putting a large window in the back that faces the mountains because she loves the view.
Wow. I've been looking at tiny houses and different floor plans for the longest time. This is absolutely incredible and inspiring for me. 😎🙌🏽
