    Adding more donation bins would make you a lot more money!! Most of my money in franchise mode usually comes from donations

    Oooh we have tons of donation bins around every habitat.. you sometimes just dont see them because I hide them away in rocks, walls, etc :) will show that in the next episode as I indeed didnt really tell that hahaha. Same goes for normal bins btw :)

    I didn’t realise the do not disturb signs actually worked. Big help! I also find putting shy animals right at the back and the more confident animals towards the front helps because there is less congestion I also prefer having back drops in the exhibits because it gives it a natural looking background All in all though, this is a fantastic looking franchise zoo

    I haven't watched too many Planet Zoo videos in the past but this series showed up in my recommendations and I have been loving it. Your energy is so much fun, and the way you react to the cuteness of the animals makes me smile every time. Your habitats are beautiful and I can't wait to see how this zoo grows!

    Another tip with power, espacelly in Franchise mode. We pay the production of energy with the transformers and it is sometimes annoying when we want to make money. But there is a solution by placing next to the transformers, a wind turbine or a solar panel and it reduce the amount of energy produced by the transformer and thus saving money. The game will first use the renewable energies because of their smaller radius (no cost) and then the transformer to supply the energy further.

    This is looking soo so great!!! I love how you’re taking this one a lot slower, really taking your time with it and not adding loads of animals each episode! Not sure about others but I definitely prefer that, not necessarily adding animals every ep but really taking your time over the zoo aesthetics and the management too!! Thanks so much for the great videos 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

    The easiest way to get a white cub is to breed the white male with one of the female cubs when they grow up. Couse you know for sure they got the “white genes” from their father. I know it’s inbreeding, but it’s really not a big deal considering they all have gold status. So, basically, there won’t be bad genes to be reenforced by the inbreeding. You’ll actually get the opposite. Some breeders do that on propose in real life, and it definitely happens in nature.

    First of all your zoo looks beautiful. Second, the flamingoes had low welfare because of a lack of enrichment, not stress. Add more enrichment or reduce your number of flamingoes. Also exhibits don't bring in a lot of money unless you are breeding the animals. And then of course selling your surplus.

  • @SpikedHairVSGravity
    @SpikedHairVSGravity2 жыл бұрын

    The best way to make money at the start of a zoo is to get a SMALL animal with HIGH appeal, preferably a single one that lives a long time. Also, a tip, just throw a Galapagos tortoise into a South American exhibit and an Aldabra into an African exhibit. It literally doesn’t matter, they can live with cheetahs and tigers and just not get eaten. Here is my personal opinion of the zoo thus far: -otters and tapirs, efficient (low-medium upkeep, medium-high appeal) -flamingoes, neutral (medium upkeep, low appeal) -tigers, neutral until they have cubs (high upkeep, high appeal) -fennec foxes, efficient until they had kits, then neutral to inefficient (low upkeep, medium appeal) Best “money making” animals imo: -Aardvark -Red Panda -Arctic Fox -Koala -Binturong -Meerkat -Giant anteater The best overall species to start out a franchise zoo with is a small Aardvark and Meerkat habitat with one viewing angle so they don’t get stressed. Bonus enrichment, cheap feed, low habitat space, both high appeal. The reason I say this is because your highest cost with animals will be the feed. Small animals and herbivores have the cheapest feed and bring in the most guests per money spent caring for it. Big cats, dogs, and big herbivores will cost a lot of money in feed. In fact, even herbivores like bongoes, Nyala, tapirs, warthogs, moose, and ostriches are extremely efficient to just have one of in a smaller, private habitat. They’re totally happy to just be alone, and the amount of money they need to upkeep always pales in comparison to the donations you get if you keep them happy and give a good viewing spot. Crocydylians and platypuses are also amazing little things that require little space, but the reason they’re not on my “starter species” list is because of the upstart cost being at least +2000 for the water treatment. Keep them single though unless you have a lot of money because the crocodilian babies take a lot of money. DONT: DO NOT start out your zoo with a large carnivore. You will go in the red with the sheer amount of meat they consume. DO NOT allow your arctic foxes to breed at the start of a franchise zoo. They have 4+ kits per breeding and the feed cost is not worth the amount of guests they bring in. DO NOT GET ELEPHANTS, LARGE HIPPOES, LARGE PRIMATES, OR DOGS until your zoo is functioning at… well my rule is at least +30k a year. All of the dog species are neutral or inefficient, and elephants usually cost more money than they make. Personal numbers: My elephants made me 16k in donations last year and cost 17k per feed, usually twice a year. The other animals are carrying my elephants. This, versus my SINGLE platypus, who costs $600 per feed and made me 13.5k in donations. And my little meerkat and aardvark exhibit, with like 8 meerkats and 2+a baby aardvark, costs me 1k per feed and makes me 27k a year. Yes, my little 700m2 aardvark and meerkat habitat is COMPLETELY carrying my entire African Elephant breeding program in its 8000m2 sprawling plains. Small tips: -tortoises are your friend, put them in exhibits they will fit into. Make sure you don’t put them with a “confident” animal because they will get stressed -imho flamingoes aren’t worth it, you need too many of them and the pretty habitats you want to build for them stress them out because they’re “neutral” and not “confident” -single animals and bachelor groups are not illegal, I promise. Babies are expensive. One gharial is more efficient than two adult gharials and seven babies you have to take care of for like 15-20 years. Sorry for the essay. I love watching Lady’s videos and I’m not great at decorating, but I have the tycoon mode down so I have opinions.

    How do you get so many conservation cretits?

  • @DeLadysigner

    @DeLadysigner

    Just make a seperate breeding zoo with simple functioning habitats, pick animals that breed fast, put everything on full speeds, and then sell the offspring when they grow up on the market or release them in the wild. I honestly dont know exactly what animals these days are worth the effort and time. Back in the days I earned quite some money buy breeding tons of tigers and other big cats and then just release them in the wild 😊 but no idea if they are still worth that much nowadays 😊

    I dont know which do the most but African wild dogs are a good place to start on getting some good credits. The breed very quickly and have many pups and then you can sell those. Once you get some credits buy some gold rated big cats. If you have the South America pack jaguars are nice.
