Building a Scrap Wood Biltong Chopper!!

Ойын-сауық

#woodworking #scrapwood #biltong
In this video, I show you how to create a DIY biltong chopper using scrap wood. If you're a fan of South African-style cured meat, you'll know how important it is to have the right tools to slice and chop your tough biltong strips. This project is made out of handy pieces of scrap Tasmanian Oak and Spotted Gum with a repurposed plane iron for cutting and a simple mineral oil finish. I'll take you through my process of creating the chopper, assembling the final product, and using it on some biltong.
With this simple and affordable project, you'll be enjoying perfectly sliced biltong in no time. Check out the video and get inspired to start your next woodworking project!
Thanks for watching!

Great job.. Likking the fact that you are showing the "it did not work", parts as well.... shows that things can go wrong.. Great video. 😁

Thanks! I think its important to include when things don't work. It tends to happen pretty often!

Yes it is. It's air dried meat kind of like beef jerky. But very different at the same time.
