    Great video lots of helpful tips for building… buildings…. Another tip for holding glued structures together to keep from sliding or coming apart until the glue dries is to use sewing pins with the little ball on the end. This has helped tremendously in some of my projects in the past so I figured I’d pass the knowledge along 🤙

    The roof was so simple yet really effective, the whole thing turned out great. Picked up some helpful tips too. Only built a handful of kits and hope to have a go at a diorama next so your video's are proving very helpful to me. It's a like, a sub, and I'll be working my way through your other video. Cheers mate 👍

    Well I have to say your builds get to me each and every time just seeing them come to life is so amazing. The colors work so well together and the way the roof is done is fantastic. At some point in time we really need to work on a piece together and bring our different styles of building together!!!!!

    It's always my pleasure to watch you indulge in your pleasure. Thank you so much for sharing with us. One point though, I'm surprised you didn't rough up the beams' edges a little and you laid them so straight. I though a little bit of wonkiness would add character. Just sharing my thoughts with you. Peace to you and really, Thank You Very Much!!!

    Haha I completely hear you. This video was originally going to be something aimed at beginners so I thought I would try to keep everything a simple as possible. Things got complicated pretty quickly so I had to adapt my idea fast haha. The behind the scenes struggles that nobody usually sees. However, the creative furnace is definitely lit and I have some very cool projects in the pipeline.

    Another inspiring build. The internal detail through the grimy exterior really draws your eye. 👌 I've yet to try tile lengths for roofing I kind of like getting lost in the chaos of individual shingles I clearly have too much time. Great video thanks

    Hi I'm very new to modelling, was wondering how important it is for you to work at a certain scale and how do you manage to keep the scale throughout the build. it feels like through the video it's not an issue you discuss other than the little figure at the start.

  • @creativecuts7803

    @creativecuts7803

    7 ай бұрын

    Firstly, welcome 🙏 in terms of scale, it only matters as much as you make it matter. It can be very confusing as there are so many scales. I sometimes use a figure to use as a reference - if a human is this small in my world then a door would this high, kind of thing. My advice would be to settle on a scale you like working at and work with that rather than changing scales alot. Your eye becomes tuned into seeing the world at that scale and many of the decisions become intuitive. Sorry for the ramble but hope that helps a little.

    To be honest I kind of made it up as I went along. There was no plan. But the building was 20cm x 15cm with a 5cm overhang. Basically fitting the size of the building to the piece of wood I had haha
