This is the type of shit I would do if I was rich. And it's good for humanity too because you know every single person he drives by in that van will put a smile on their face... Y'all did an awesome job on that van.

Ikr id have it just like this one but would add a bed washroom fridge everything a have to look like the show scooby doo and the cast everything lol so i love this idea in the video
Year 92 baby here. Scooby has always had a sentimental place in my heart. Great job guys!

Nobody noticed that it doesn't look anything like the actual original Scooby Doo van? Not near the same colors or floral design, no front tire, no roof racks, no computer on the inside, etc... would have been neat to see a real replica.

@@VenturaIT i get what youre saying, it would be nice to see them do an exact copy. but you have to one, keep in mind this is a customs shop, they do strictly customer customizaations, and two, like he says in like the 1:40 ish mark "make it our own" like adding their little flare to it. also i have seen a few replicated versions, it is nice to see them, but after 3 or 4 they tend to just look like the same van passing by.

@@VenturaIT well yea thats a whole rights issues so they did their own version of it to most likely avoid issues. But i do agree it looks like crap and honestly not the best van ive seen. Looks as rushed as this video was
@VenturaIT

@@AniClips699 I don't think it looks like crap? Is the van really copyrighted? What got me was the lack of the front tire and that the colors weren't the same or even close, not to mention the graphic design being so different. Not bad, just not looking like the van drove right out of the cartoon like the guy claimed in the video. He said that, if you watched the video.
That's awesome. Should have painted the rims

A better rim choice would have been vintage A/R Torque Thrust" Daisy" rims powder coated in the right colors. I've seen it done on other MM replicas and it looks really cool.

I guess Cragar was a sponsor of the show and wouldn’t let WCC paint the rims.

I know the Dodge A100 is a leading candidate for what the Mystery Machine was supposed to be but, when I was a little kid, I generally thought of it as a Volkswagen Type 2 panel van just because of the front mounted spare wheel. I wouldn't mind seeing this version of the Mystery Machine as a Hot Wheels car, which shouldn't be that hard considering that Mattel has both a Dodge A100 Hot Wheels casting and the Scooby-Doo license.

I think the Mystery Machine in the original 69” show was supposed to be based off a late 60s era Ford Econoline van
@gzuz4148
10 күн бұрын
Ive done my fair share of research and it's actually a 65 chevy van and on imcdb it's always listed as that a the one in the Scoob movie is literally thay but yeah dodge a100 is a very close second in my books followed by the ford econoline
I really bet Grey DeLisle, the voice of Daphne, will sign an autograph on that van.
Dang that van was sharp when they first got it. I appreciate what they did to it, but I’d love to get one in the condition it was in. They look so good, with a little updating to the motor an suspension it’d be one helluva daily driver.

Yeah as much as I wish they had just purely wrapped it and then just did seat covers you got to respect real paint, at least they didn't take the easy way
Oh how I wish I was rich. I would ABSOLUTELY have this built! Great job, WCC!
this is the pimp my ride shit i wanted to see in the 2000's don't get me wrong i love all the work and effort that ryan and his guys put in these projects
Wcc lang ist es her, schön wieder einmal von Euch zu sehen... 💖
Well, great job. Your imagination and professionalism are unsurpassed 👏👏👏
Now that's love for the series.
10,000 out of 10 and you guys made me feel really old when the Saturday Morning cartoons came on TV
Yea real paint and striping on the body! No vinyl wrap. You guys did it as good as it can be.
That's pretty cool, should've painted the wheels though. I wouldn't have gone for that rim style personally. I'd have also done the interior in purple like the TV show. Everyone's got their own idea of how a mystery machine should be though
If there's one thing that WCC can do is bring back any car , van or truck back to the living with that special touch that they have and the love they put into the work they all do !!! God bless WCC 💯❤️🙏🏻😇👍👋😎✌️
Please add the spare tyre on the front to complete the look, it really needs it to send it off to cartoon heaven

Not trying to be a "Daphine Downer"", but I get why the front spare tire was left off as it might restrict radiator air flow and cause cooling issues. Just my theory. As I'm also building "The Mystery Machine" from a 66 Chevy G-10 Sportvan, I'm considering doing the same.

Craigers!!! Ahhh, memories... When I was in high school everyone had 70's era Nova's or Malibu's either primer grey or black with straight pipes, jacked up rear ends and CRAIGERS!!!!
Brian all I got to say man you do awesome work you are self-made for sure I don't care what the haters say or the ex-employee say you do good work it was just one TV show or a couple employees that fucked your whole shift up but you prevailed and you survived you didn't let them haters keep you keep your head up you already know that you already been in the game and and still surviving today much respect Ryan
This made me smile, thanks!
I think this looks really good! Only thing I could complain about is that fact the mystery machine logo isn’t in the middle on each side like on the cartoon. Other than that it looks good to me!
My jaw was on the floor the whole time. This was knocked clear out of the ballpark guys
Very Creative
Great Job on the Mystery Machine van.
Very cool!!!!!!!!
It's like watching Pimp My Ride back in the day but better!
Me and my friends would really like to see more of the building of the vehicles
Some great talent at West Coast Customs👍
Once again. I was reminded why custom cars are so expensive. So tedious AF! Been a fan of Hanna-Barbera ever since I was a child. And I must say, that this is one of the best, if not the best real life Mystery Machine that I ever seen. Two thumbs up!
Great work guys!
If only the Genie would grant me a wish to get my '08 Super Bee refreshed. WCC is the SHIZ!
I would love to drive this! Awesome!
Wow that came out better than I thought it would
omg 😍😍😍. Looks fantastic! Childhood memories...
i love it dude (cool custom & best design), The Mystery Machine - FUNTASTIC 😎
i dont wish for the van, just Shaggy's appetite. 🤣
glad to see he uses firefox as well
Clean AF 👍🏼
That thing better be electric.
Best Cartoon Ever Made !
Ballin head unit! 🫢
That's super cool
A lot of work goes into this. Wonder what they customer was willing to pay.
This is like Pimp my Ride but with the Alternative.
Oh look, another scooby doo van. *rolls eyes*
Back when they were on pimp my ride i submitted my 1966 van to pimp my van witch was already painted exactly like the cartoon and never heard from them
Looks nice WCC 🚙💨

Cool van .
great job
I wish those old Cragars mags would make a come back on modern muscle cars. Smaller wheels with more tire side walls with raised white lettering 👌
Mystery Machine logo should be centered and larger...but other than that it’s really cool.
Favorite Cartoon 💯
Awesome
West coast costums should put a tv in it
62 year old carpet installer here owned lots of vans over the years . All of them tricked out . Where's the shag carpet lol.....
We adore this vehicle 🔥❤️
A van like this ought to attract a lot of children to help you find your lost dog.
Good stuff
No seats belts too 😂

The workmanship was outstanding. If I had any gripes, I would have liked to have seen more footage of the interior. I'm currently building one myself from a 66 Chevy G-10 Sportvan and am looking out for things I can do with mine to make it as close as realistically possible while adding a few personal touches. This has really set the bar high, so I've got my work cut out. If mine comes out half or 3/4 as good as this masterpiece, I'll be happy. Thanks for posting.

All that work just to go and put a Boss sound system in. I get how sponsorship works but wow.
why did you not add the spare tire to the front like in the cartoon.?
@SteveBrandon
Жыл бұрын
I think the thing about the cartoon Mystery Machine was that it took (easy to draw) design elements from several vans of the 1960s including the Dodge A100 but also the Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi and the front-mounted spare tire was definitely more of a Volkswagen thing and not so much a Dodge thing. I'd personally still have added the spare tire for "cartoon purist" reasons (and not had so much in the interior).
I am a kid I love Scooby Doo
