Once again, your video is one of the bright spots of my week.❤ We buy black beans by the case from Costco, so I'll be trying this recipe on my grandchildren, who are visiting in a few weeks. After seeing your beautiful flowers, I'm going to buy some to brighten my home for the family. This week we said goodbye to our beloved Terrier, 14. It is a part of having dogs, but it never gets easier. We are a dog free home for the first time in 30 years! We make our own glass cleaner out of vinegar, rubbing alcohol and water. Your recipe is much easier and cost effective. So I will be picking up some ammonia this week. Thank you again for making such informative videos that are also beautiful to watch!!🥀🌻

Ammonia and it's fumes are highly toxic for pets so if you have birds or any other pet you should use this when they're in another closed room. I thank you so much for these useful tips and recipes. Your videos make me happy!

I use hydrogen peroxide and water, in a 50-50 blend. I wonder if this would be safe for your pets...

A 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water is safe to use around pets and it dries odorless.

Great video Lisa!! Love your pretty flowers, the arrangement you made for the front door was beautiful. That chocolate brownie looks good, I might make some substitutions but that’s me 😅. I think I will try honey or date sugar, carob chips and cacao powder. But this recipe is great because I love food that’s yummy but healthy without seeming like it. I never had a lot of luck with my spirializer, please post some recipes using it. I love nutritional yeast on my popcorn! Those brownies look delicious!

Hi Lisa, You are going to love the spiralizer! I very often spiraling zucchini and cook it in a puttanesca sauce (no pasta added, but you could actually mix it with pasta when it's done) on the range top with sliced black Olives, capers, diced tomatoes and generous good quality EVOO. It's an excellent dish for Vegan/vegetarian guests. I also have spiralized sweet potatoes, and then sprinkle them with brown sugar and some evoo and there are never leftovers of that side dish! Black bean brownies are awesome! Thank you for sharing your recipe; it's a little different from mine, so I will try it out this weekend! As always, loved your video today! Saluti da New York

Lisa, this is a very late reply; but, I just wanted to elaborate on the spiralized sweet potatoes. 2 or 3 large sweet potatoes, scrub off/peel off skin. Cut ends flat so they fit securely onto the grippers of the machine. Spiralize on the small blade...place on larger cookie sheet lined with Parchment paper. Spray or coat evenly and generously with Extra Virgin olive oil. Sprinkle with brown sugar and toss again to coat evenly. Preheat oven to 425F....place in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Do not allow to scorch or burn. Buon'apetito e Buona Domenica delle Palme. Saluti da NY! S.gra D.

Great idea for cleaning windows. I use lemon juice and water, it works well also. Your videos are wonderful to watch. Wonder if sometime you would do a video on cooking fish. Mine always turns out, not so good lol

I made your black bean brownie recipe. It is really good. The only extra thing I did was sprinkle flaky salt on top along with some extra chocolate chips before baking.

Black bean brownies are a favorite in my house! Absolutely cannot taste the beans. Even my kids will eat them knowing they have beans.

As always, such a delight to watch your videos, Lisa. Everything just looked so bright & cheery today! I have never tried black beans..but my curiosity is definitely up with those brownies. Think I`ll make a batch, but not tell anyone how they are made. Should be fun! Thanks as always!

I'm new to your channel and I love your encouragement to love our role as Homemakers. Not to mention how beautiful your home is! I'm excited to try those brownies. 😋 Regarding tge window cleaning solution, do you know if there's a difference between household amonia and general amonia? I have regular amonia, but planned to get rid of it because I don't use it much and I've been trying to reduce harsh/toxic chemicals. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Awww thanks, Michelle! There's a difference between regular ammonia which is a 5% solution and Industrial ammonia which is a 25% concentration..the ammonia you have is most likely the regular stuff unless it says otherwise :)

I love these ideas, except I can't use any ammonia on my windows d/t the E-film on them. It damages the film and voids my warranty on the windows. The rest of your video I am going to do...especially the brownies!!

Thanks for your question Diana...this product isn't for baking...it's used like a condiment for extra nutrition :)

Your nutritional yeast has chemical vitamins added. That's why the numbers are high. The non-fortified has a purer yummy taste. I order organic Loov brand online.

I’ve tried to make that window cleaning solution before, I think I was using too much ammonia 🥹 Your brownies sound interesting and look amazing! I’d like to try those Gioia’s. ❤
