You are born with this talent ! And you are a good man ! God bless you !
Amazing that one guy can do this…. but our world ‘goverments’ can’t? Homeless people need our help!!! Thank you, great job 🙏🏼❤️❤️. I hope nobody steals it.
I really liked this one! It was cool! 🥰 But one issue. The waterproof plastic was attached to the inside, which wasn't painted, and no silicone was used to prevent a waterproof barrier between this layer. Which means that any rain hitting the waterproof plastic, is gonna drip down the edge, and into the interior where the wood will eventually start to rot. It's not a bad design, but needs a few minor improvements.

@@deadeyegamer3020 exactly , kudos these bike campers can be life savers as well because humans can catch Exposure and expire from it in merely Low 50s wet conditions and temps , a dry camper that deflects wetness and keeps a sleeping bag dry can mean the world to some unfortunate person in that situation , , ,so when a city announces they will open cold shelters to the homeless ONLY if temperatures fall less than 40°degrees , , it burns me with anger because city KNOWS they should open them at 50° , , City leaders have same Google Medical the rest of us have access to 😢😔😔

I don't know if you already have tried this, but probably if you go to home depot or lowes, and tell them of what you are doing for the homeless, hopefully they can donate some of the materials to build more tiny homes. May God continue blessing you, so you can continue blessing others as well.

I’m super happy to FINALLY see someone implement the same idea I’ve had to a growing homeless problem where the government takes away from the very same people people like yourself have provided for them. With this alternative they can move it with them and even leave it at work stationed and no government or sanitation problem. Excellent! 👍🏻 Hope to see other’s implement this alternative as well in helping out the homeless or themselves.
@Itried20takennames

I wish, but where exactly do you put it? I don’t think many employers or their neighboring businesses would want a person essentially camping in their parking lot. And even is so….you would need to have an employer, which many do, but not all. Not being negative and a nice thing, but the tricky part of any housing alternatives for the homeless is the “where,.” If you have a place… almost anything will work (tent, yurt, van, old RV, tiny home, etc) but in reality, although most people say they want to help the homeless, most also want the encampments or shelters to be someplace OTHER than their own neighborhood.
@user-jp5nc8zf7m
8 ай бұрын
@@Itried20takennames There is individual action, then there is collective action. You can't do one without the other. This is great, I'm going to try it myself. But the end is always to get homes. We have a local organization, I'm going to try building one of these, then try to get the homeless organization. This is the easiest best design I've seen, and I've seen businesses step up for homelessness. The real problem is governments. Micro homes are the best solution to that, this is a first step til a micro home. Which frankly is all anybody needs.

Hey , Good morning , Manny . I'm really sorry that Brad didn't meet up with you to receive the bike camper . But at the end you still made out well cause you found someone else in need . As for you and channel getting 170 thousand subscribers is super awesome 💯 I'm very happy and proud of you for hanging in there . If I need help buying a small power station do you think you'd be able to direct me !!! Is there any way that I can get in touch with you !? I hope you remember me! As the guy said it it's true you're awesome 💯❤️😇🙏💪🙌✌️😎 👍
May the Father in Heaven, El Shaddai, bless you both to continue this loving work you are doing! So heartfelt, makes me happy to see your neat ideas!
Ive built my share of things while living outside. A problem these nice campers will have to deal with is theft. Making it not stick out or draw attention is important. People see something nice and they are drawn to it for the wrong reasons. Are they lockable? Any lock can be compromised but locks will prevent opportunity theft and also will slow entry of someone trying to get in. Adding an alarm with a fob($16) on amazon or a window/door alarm. Nobody moves when someone elses alarm goes off but for your own stuff, an alarm tells you someone is messing with your stuff, handle it. Happy i found this channel.
I think I like this bike camper the best. Couldn't ask for more. Great talent.

I think this is my favorite camper because of how small it can fold up
Wow. you are wonderful. ❤️❤️❤️ From VietNam 🇻🇳
It’s an amazing idea and a wonderful way of helping people, just worth to to do a small change in the future builds: the waterproof material on the sides should be bolted outside of the box on the bottom cause whatever it will be the rain water or the morning condensation, it will flow inside the camper when it’s positioned like this. Great job!
Nicely done and if I was homeless this would be the perfect set up BUT most homeless people I've seen collect way too much junk. Would be interesting to follow up with him in a couple months. I would mounted the solar panel on the roof and then have it where you can angle it towards the sun. You could start a business offering something like this for cycle tourist.

Homeless man here. I have the luxury of living in my truck. One thing I have learned real quick is that truck liner can be painted on. This has added a bit of color, heat resistance, and protection to my truck bed, and to the roof of my truck. Perhaps something similar would be prudent for future designs.
Man, that's really cool that you do that for homeless people. I'm thinking, though, that it's just a matter of time before someone jacks their stuff. Maybe consider putting a keyed lock on it or something.

This is a great design! You do great work, not only on the builds, but in what you do to help the homeless! I think im going to use this build as inspiration for a bike camper for myslef!
Outstanding! Now consider using armored 1" foam board for top and partially on sides. Using cotton duck cloth adhere foam board sandwiched between a coat of latext gripper paint. It's becomes very strong. Coating both sides even stronger... Cut the side planks in half. Put armored foam along the top edges. Great idea you have there...saving even alittle weight goes along wait on cycle campers...since you have 2"X2" slats you can getby using 1/4" plywood for bottom can weather proof using cloth Nd gripper paint. Once all glued & fastened together very strong....cheers
Sweet camper. If you build another one like this maybe see if the fabric can attach outside the camper so if it rains the water won't end up inside.

This is the best homeless camper I've found since finding various designs on KZread about an hour ago. I love the pop-up feature that lowers center of gravity & prevents WIND from tipping it over when traveling. I'd probably prefer to use it just as a base to set a TENT up on. Then, remove the floor of the tent to be able to access food & supplies stored in the base while I'm in the tent!

I agree, I love the design which has both a low center of gravity and low lateral windage. I think that one could lower the weight with some creativity but the basic design is so far my favorite. The materials and technique fit the need perfectly for these traveling angels.

You should try camping in the rain in one of these first. The attachment of the tent fabric INSIDE the side is likely to have rain running down the fabric and INTO the cabin. You'll either need a redesign or spray the hell out of the fabric with silicon water proofing. Also, was the insect netting ATTACHED to the side fabric? Looked like it was blowing loosely. I also suggest painting EVERY surface of the wood BEFORE attaching them together, as water will wick in between where you couldn't get paint to. Love your sentiments, though!
Keep building them, they are brilliant and what a kind service to do for others
