We battled days of rain and storms, but finally got the pallet barn up.

I am actually planning to make a similar build. Yall really need to pull that tin back off and put purlins across those rafters. If you don’t that roof will leak horribly and wind will rip that tin off there not to mention any kind of snow will cave it in. You can get away with 1”x4”’s but I would recommend using 2”x4”’s or Lowes even has 2”x3”’s that are significantly cheaper.

All good points! This was our first big project and we learned a lot about what to do and what not to do. 😅 Thanks for watching!

we built a 10 x 20 ft pallet shed about 8 years ago.. we put it up on blocks due to pallets rotting if they touch the ground in other projects we built..our shed has held up against a cat 3 hurricane.. and many tropical storm systems...

Wow, that’s impressive it held up to a hurricane! Yes, looking back we should have raised the pallets off the ground or even laid some concrete mix first.

Hey, enjoy your videos. I’m curious, what is that you used on the outside?

Hi there, we used siding panels from Lowe’s. Here is the info from the website, www.lowes.com/pd/LP-LP-Multi-Use-Panel-Application-As-4-ft-x-8-ft/1002550422
