Wow, good job on that one, I think your channel deserves more subs! 👌 Since there is the official kit from bambu now, I will just go with that one, but the Vision enclosure is nice too.

Thanks hope you found it helpful 🙂
Great video! Really good insight to the project. I will build the enclosure soon (also with green accents) ps. you forgot to put the link to the side mounted spool holder in the description.
There is a quick release hinge option in the file for this. It's the one I printed and it works pretty well

@@brandongardner2853 I just used some lock tight super glue got it cheap on Amazon 😊 and I left the printer on its side for a few hours to let it dry . I think it’s a safe option cause the original feet had some kind of adhesive
You did not leave any link to what inserts you used?

I just used cheap ones from Ali express
How much does it cut down the sound? Not sure if you have any experience with ender 3s, how does the sound compare to those? Thanks in advance!

Tbh it’s still pretty loud compared to a stock ender I think it’s just the motion system and the way the printer is designed the enclosure does cut down the noise a bit but I wouldn’t do this mod just for the noise reduction it wouldn’t be worth it 🙂

@@FilamentFoundry thanks a lot!
No, the Lidar makes it worth it. There's no mimicry for it atm.

What was the spec for the M3 heated insert? Is it M3 x D5x H7 or any M3 would work? How many do I need? Thanks
@FilamentFoundry

@@FilamentFoundry Thanks I googled for the insert. Insert size suggested was M3xD5xH7. It only says they come in a pack of 50 or 100 but did not say how many are needed. I can get any quantity of 20 multiples. M3xD5xH6 is the most common so I was wondering if H6 is deep enough.
