I like the look of the lighter grass as the last layer. Provides some depth to the scene. Looking great Dave!

I think the term you were looking for was "forced perspective", which you have accomplished quite nicely. Excellent.

Hi Dave, the mountain and cutting is looking good. If you are not going to use the large trees, just cut them down to the height you want. will save you buying smaller trees.

I just watch SMT mainline latest video what a great idea he has a camera cart infront of the engine transmitting to a tablet that he mount by a realistic engine controller so you wind up with a engine simulator set up ( for dcc) that gives you live view and control of all bells and whistles awesome idea

Wow, Dave, your mountain looks great! A job well done. You can use matte ModgePodge which dries matte finish as an alternate to Elmer's glue which dries glossy. Shouldn't be much difference in price. Cheers from eastern TN

You can make your own scenic cement with 1 part matte modge podge to 3 parts water and a drop of dish soap.

You could remove some of the lower branches from your taller trees, cut the trunk smaller, and that would be a way to get more small trees without purchasing them.

I would lose the snow covered trees as there is no snow on the other close by trees or the ground.

I'm curious about if your going to do something with the blue in the background, the shadows of the trees on the "sky" breaks it for me a bit. Maybe paint some trees on it ? I think your mountain is fantastic these build videos are my favorite.

It's forced perspective. Most great Paiters used it. Sir you ate another Bob Ross
