When you're editing does it blow your mind how much you know and physically do? There's carpentry, waterproofing membrane, drainage. These are all separate trades. It's a complete construction by hand, alone. Then there's woodsmanship. The chopping, curing, turning. Freemasonry of measurement and precision. I don't think even you realise your scope because you just get in and do it without words. Lotta planning. All action not talk. Clean and tidy too. Far out. Thank you for taking us on a journey. Big acknowledgement for your editing that has you locked in a chair that I imagine nearly breaks you. Can't think of a worse job given your preference for physical exertion. Beautiful to watch a master craftsman at work. I'd still rather be the dog. Thank you.

I can only assume you spent some years in the military, your attention to detail, care of equipment, and overall work ethic just scream military training. I watched the episodes of this project, but having everything in a compilation like this is well worth watching again. From the beginning of me viewing your videos I noticed the love and care you have for your canine friend, and that more than anything made me respect you. Beautiful craftsmanship, your carpentry skills are astounding! As a former Army Ranger, Sua Sponte brother, your skills are top-notch, and everyone I know who is interested in bushcrafting I recommend your videos and Alex Wild for them to watch. Give your 4 legged companion a hug and treat for me, she's a beauty.

I watched, i admired, and i learned a lot from this video (thanks for the variety of camera angles). I've got some questions, but before i ask, imma see if anybody else has asked and got answers.

He is not one of these bushcrafters who show you how to build a hut that lasts only one season. No, his projects are durable and last for a long time. A true master of craftsmanship! Thank you for your videos!

Brother I used to make log cabins for a living back in the late 70’s out of McCall and New Meadows, ID. and I love how you think. I built all the log beds and furniture in the house with 18th and 19th century era tools (all original) and it brings peace to your soul. These days other than some fish and a chunk of deer meat… what you built is all I would need.

Diggin into the hillside to begin with, is just next level ! At face value, some people may call this cabin primitive. But, i have watched a lot of cabins built, and this one takes just as much skill as a more " modern" build, its just that the result is different. So yeah, Bushcraft. Well done :)
