Australian cities are always changing with new skyscrapers. I think you should add a new building into the cbd every episode, so that your downtown is constantly changing.

OE says he will bring the episode to an end then continues for some solid 18 mins. Thank you for sharing your creativity.

Great build and the perfect location for it too, looks awesome with the CBD in the background. I love the way the terminal roads connect at different other roads and not just merge together into a large one. BlueThunder did a great job with the Thessia planes, they literally scream 'vacation' at anybody boarding them🙂

What does CBD stand for in Egg lingo?

That's not Egg Lingo actually. It's short for Central Business District, also known sometimes as 'Downtown'. Usually an centrally located area of a city with high rising towers and high land value.

Hey Egg you should add warning lights on top of the mountain to let pilots know of the dangers that there is a mountain there as quite often they would do that as a safety measure so it is lit up at night and it is usually red warning lights so it alerts pilots that there is something with high elevation with in the flight path 😊

For ideas around the airport, there are "rival" casinos around Darling Harbour in Sydney. As well as parks, and offices.

you should name the convention Centre after blue thunder, as in BT Convention centre, where the bt could correspond to blue thunder and the financial group BT, as in they helped finance the convention centre to hold whatever they want to close to the airport

Such a great looking airport, and wow the look of it with the CBD in the back is just magnificent. Those planes from BlueThunder are just epic! 10/10

In addition to the convention centres, if you've still got some space it might be good to add one or more sports stadiums since they'd be able to benefit from the transport links you've already built in the area.

I can’t remember why we called it the Pototally Beautanical Gardens but it makes me laugh every time I see it.

This is one of your greatest airport builds so far. Love them. Your ATC need to be raised a little (they like to see the whole airport) and your livery planes are amazeballs. Thank you for another great build ✈️

You should use the monorail, perhaps the cruise terminal - monorail hub leading into the CBT and maybe joining up with the metro and/or rail system and airport and the convention centre, maybe also the older terminal? It wouldn't entirely out of park - Sydney had a monorail system up until 2013. Also, you can use the multitool to make almost a rollercoaster on steep declines - which is good fun!

As always Thessia just hit the spot to have a great start to the weekend! 💃 This build really ties everything together & it’s absolutely amazing how you manage to make an airport that’s mostly concrete look so inviting & beautiful 🥰 Blue thunder’s assets are so incredible well made & he’s a champ for putting them all together 👌🏻

I think a medical school/college that has a monorail to a major hospital in the area would be a cool addition. They had one for years here in indianapolis that really became a major defining part of the town

That approach over the mountains looks like it could get a bit hairy :D (EDIT: Especially with the road and terminal buildings right near the tips of the runway -- the light standards on the road in particular are a hazard, as are the plane gates directly in the approach path)

I'm sure some plane spotters would love a nature reserve walk on that mountain as the planes come in to land

at 50:34, I don't think the dedicated left lane turning into the airport activated. Might just be me. Regardless, brilliant and inspiring as always. Keep them coming, Mr Egg.

Took me 3 split watches to finish the episode but I looove the airport. The sudden turn to the right isn't so unbelievable. Due to the parallel runways in Sydney airport they do tend to veer off to the right/left shortly after take off :) Awesome vibes from Thessia's International Airport 🎉

Egg with cities skylines 2 being a mess at the minute , can we expect a similar desert series like ILOS in tried and tested cities skylines 1 much just like THESSIA? Also , a big fan of yours 🖤🖤🖤🖤. Out of all your works ILOS is the best . Want to see another phenomenal desert build like ILOS. Love you mate.

awesome plane graphic and music. Here a question with a challenge, I think one of the terminals comes with under ground rail. What if you used that terminal without connecting any planes to the the terminal but instead used the rail to transport to multiple terminals which are not connected to any roads or other outside transportation services ? Love your work.

It would be great to connect terminal 2 with terminal 1 with a bus or tram. And there is no public transportation to the terminal 2.
