A unos 20min máximo. Gracias por dejarme un mensaje. Saludos! 😊

Saludos my friend. I’m glad to hear you love Mexico. Thanks for leaving me comment. I didn’t know that in Irán 🇮🇷 they build the ceilings the same way 😳. In mexico they call this style of roof “catalan” I like the style of exposed brick. My brothers house is done with a flat ceiling, but he made a room in a form of “cupola”. You should take look at my newest video. Its in there. I hope you too retire in Mexico and enjoy its people. 👍🏼😊

Greetings from California! The home looks great, I really like that you put a foundation down and built on top of it. For me that’s one of the most important things you can do. Most other videos that I’ve seen just build on top of what’s already there. With the seasonal flooding that occurs from time to time in the rural communities, I think that protecting your home is extremely important. I firmly believe that setting down a good foundation increases the longevity of your home. Your video encourages me to move forward with my retirement plans now. I was just talking to my wife about an hour ago in regards that we should buy land and start building our retirement home in Jalisco outside of Guadalajara. My family is from Nayarit, but we have family nearby in Guadalajara as well. For me it’s a great investment at 1/3 of the price of homes in California. Not to mention that our retirement money will go much further in Mexico than it would in the states. I look forward to your upcoming videos and keep up the good work!

Hello Adrian, thanks for leaving me a comment. It’s an advantage when we have locals building the home, since they know the area, what has worked and what hasn’t. We went with what the builder suggested after he explained why he would do it in such way. We agreed on it, and I’m very happy with it. I agree with you completely, money goes further in Mexico, we can have a better quality of life by retiring in Mexico. I’ll be placing a video of lots being sold in my area, maybe you will be encouraged to buy in the same community. 😊

Fantastic. I really appreciate finding solid, real-world information like this. I spent a lot of time motorcyling Centro and South America, with an eye to expat investigation. I have been evaluating escape plans for 30 years. 54, now, and narrowing down locations and resources. I would much rather cave a brick, concrete, steel and glass home in MX than a US stick and paper home for 4x the price. Looking at Merida, GTO, QRO, etc. Keep up the good work.

I totally understand your frustration with the cabinet guy(s). We've been building a 3-story house in Zacatecas for over 10 years now. When it's not the cabinet guy(s), it's the electrician(s), the plumber(s) or the metal worker(s) for some doors....they're all very unprofessional. They ask for half the money (upfront) to start the work, but never meet deadlines when completing the work. Then you end up chasing after them, which in turn, causes most projects to turn out poorly done (just so that they can say that the job is complete). Good luck with your house....great video by the way.

Your price is actually cheaper than most hone we have found with little yard and less space so this gives me some hope with building. The biggest thing is finding land at a decent price that is in the area we want to be in. No matter what, either is cheaper than here in the states which I love. Lol.
