It's a great skill to build this desk and chair, however I have problem with the title "grand director", I was assuming it was for office furniture, it was for workshop (workbench) instead due to the finishing.

This is my 1st time watching your work...I don't know the background of your videos, maybe just basic woodworking, the woos was provided for the job, or customer wanted lowest cost, etc., so it is difficult for me to make a final judgement. For me, personally, I would have put more emphasis on the finishing of the pieces, filled defects, fixed that large crack on the table leg, etc. But what you did do, was very pleasing. I would like this set in my shop...not my house. Thank you.

Why the hell put the T pieces in? I thought they were a design detail for the top... the glue holding those top boards together is stronger than the wood....

Amazing craftsmanship, but this furniture is made of poor reclaimed wood and does not end up looking very good.

You have to admit that the end product has a lot of ‘character’, with the history of the wood on display for all to see. 👍

The workmanship is very skilled BUT the quality of wood seems poor (? SOFTwood which is not suitable for a table that gets lots of use) and the finish is TERRIBLE! Why not fill in all the joints, cracks, knots and holes with woodfiller? - it would make SUCH a difference in appearance. The back-rest of the chair even has a square hole/piece missing and looks awful. I would NOT pay for this unless I knew it would be such poor quality from the start

It is not clear why he does not plug all the holes in the boards. It's ugly and gives a bad feeling. It has a lot of sawdust so you have to mix the sawdust with super glue or just regular PVA glue and fill the holes and sand to make it nice and smooth. This gives more splendor to the wood - thus, everyone knows that it is a used wood. It's a shame that this is not the first time that he does not take good care of the boards and completely renews it. Besides that, why not make connections using a wooden wedge - these parts withstand pressure and a little water breaks down the glue that connects them. These two problems ultimately prevent you from becoming a true professional.
