Building a DIY Roof Rack for my Jimny

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This was obviously much easier than attaching a trailer.
This was the first mod, of probably many, to my Suzuki Jimny.
the whole point was to make somthing simple, good looking, and cheap.
So it went pretty well.
Check out some of all the cool projects over at the "Seaside Garage"
/ seasidegarage
Thanks a lot for watching!

Nice job, I agree with your using the rubber to protect the paint work. I really enjoy listening to your narration because your English vocabulary and pronunciation are so good. You put many native English speakers to shame (probably me included!).

Agreed. I designed my own roof rack & ladder. Both turned out much better/stronger than my favorite from ZA. Ie, not as good looking, but way stronger. And they have plenty of space for auxiliary lights front/side/rear lights

We don't have those little beauties here in the US. Wish we did. All I hear is positive things, with the exception of limited cargo capacity. The roof rack looks great. You have something that looks factory.

Den vejer vel lige så meget i sig selv, som du overhovedet må have som taglast? Men den ser godt ud.

Takker. Tak for kikket!

Thanks a lot. And i was actually positively suprised with the weight. is weighs exactly the same as the Aluminium "Front-Runner" rack, that a lot of people are running on these. And it's lighter than somthing like an ARB rack. Thanks for watching!

I wish the Jimny was able to be sold here in the USA without having 25 years on them. CAFE standards need to die off. impossible to have a small gas sipping vehicle and have it still be a 4wd truck.

Suzuki has been absent from Us since roughly 2012..poor quality..dealerships lacking, and poor safety records and sense that the vehicles were 'cheap'..shame that they could not improve upon these short comings ..anyway..good to see you again, and always enjoy your videos..hope to see spring time that will allow more content..

Suzuki has actually come a long way in the last 10-15 years. and, at least in the european market, they are generally considered as "good value for the money" as they are economical, comftable, reasonably reliable, and fairly priced. Although, a lot of their models have just been incredibly booring. Thanks for watching!
