I love how Collette has this channel, and actually does work. She proves a Woman can be a Beautiful, and do Automotive stuff fully. Also, How lucky is TJ to have found a Woman who is into the same stuff he is, and not just a "Trophy". Imagine not having to beg, explain, or just hide the stuff you wanna do, simply cause she understands. Collette is a role model for all, and she does it with class! These two make a Great Couple/Team, and now the compound! Talk about Life goals!

where i work i can get a sheet of aluminum for pretty cheap... i just dont know if i could get myself to take out the stock dash... but race car...

never too cold to work on a car...in a heated garage.

With heavy aluminum, you can make a structural element that will help similar to a shock tower brace . I love the video , but heavy metal is better and then you TIG weld the whole thing, sand it down , and it wont bend when your friend's head hits it

I'm watching your paint video next glad you keep it simple, people don't have to spend thousands of dollars to have a nice ride

nice work, may want to flock it or suede cover it do reduce glare when driving, also use foam tape to cover the metal to metal contact and metal to glass to reduce vibration noise

thanks! I was thinking suede but couldnt find the color i wanted, so going to paint it and use a matte plasti dip over it and see if that works :)

You just know when a guy wants to be lazy at work

will you be putting some suede fabric over the dash to keep sunlight from reflecting off the dash, or are you just gonna leave it bare bone? I think white suede or leopard print suede would look cool in a drift car, especially if you're going with the all white interior!

Brett MacIsaac haha thatd be SO EPIC if i could find cheetah print suede 🙌🏼 ... i think for now im gonna paint it and put a matte plasti dip coating on it to help with glare ... still debating tho! Just sorta on a time crunch :/

How do you mount the dash board closet to the windshield?

Did you swap the vin over to it?

Looking good! Going with a gauge cluster or a like a racing display or maybe a combo of both?

Looks awesome, came out great... but one thing. isn't is going to rattle like mad because its metal butted to metal? Maybe a thin layer of liquid rubber needs to be introduced at strategic places ;) All in all awesome job!

Collin Gerth thank you! And ill be keeping my stock motor for awhile to put a lot of practice on it until i finish up my racing motor that will be a turbo charged ported 13B rotary (basically what i have in the car now just ported and rebuilt). My stock one has good compression and with a tune from garage life ill be pushing 250-300 Hp... plenty to start drifting with 🏁

That sounds good to me. Rotary motors have always interested me but i have no experience with them. Keep it up and I can wait to see the Tire Slaying videos :)

What are your plans with the current motor? I know you have a different engine that you're building. pretty much, would you be willing to sell it?

Hey! I'm keeping my current motor as a spare and will rebuilt it once i put the new one in. Planning on keeping it in the car tho for a couple more months - -sorry!

Why did you cut the corners out? You could have just notched out a space for the roll cage bars.

OMG if you need my help I can suggest and show you how to build a true all-around car.. my rx7 fc channel I'm starting soon will have all my videos edited for the viewers not only that instead of a bunch of random it will be like a movie style format and have my zl1 motor in it.. along with the 2000hp new zl1 twin turbo kit from hellion. I really hope you let me give you advice. I cut the front end off the fc and used race roll bar setup to lighten very much. 2200lbs with 800whp is going to move as well as drift

@@derronjoseph1408 I started building my zl1. Since vengeance racing couldn't work on already heads and cammed nitrous zl1 it comes down to Texas speed shipping a race motor and a 4.7 beig installed currently when I get a tuner I'll be showing off the 2500hp new build.
