This is my nod to the Gibson Les Paul - Built in the same style of the late 1950's Les Paul's specifically. The long tenon, hide glues and fish glue, the binding nibs, the holly veneer headstock plate, the Cherry pore filler and Aniline Dyes and Nitrocellulose lacquer finish. I've deviated a bit and used Stainless steel frets and a scarf joint in the neck for added strength. I also moved the toggle switch down and went with a master tone. I hope you enjoy.

Not hating at all,, beautiful instrument and in a lot of ways close to perfect but what could you have learned from watching CNC machines??? again, not hating, nothing but respect

@@Snowy0123 Hello Brian. At that time, no CNC were used. Only ”normal” tools so to say, drill press, planer, handheld router, band saw etc. Mr Fletcher showed us how to build a precision instrument with such a precision using these normal tools with smart techniques and smart approaches. I was very impressed by that and his methods were my foundation when I decided to build my own guitar which came out great I think, I am very pleased with it. I think business really took of for Mr Fletcher at this point and to keep up with orders of course you need to upgrade your machine park. But Brian, have a look on his early videos. You will not be disappointed. Have a great day.

A very welcome return Sir. My own 59 Les Paul junior guitar build on my KZread is all down to you 5 years ago now. I can’t not thank you enough for the success on my own KZread channel, which is from your inspiration. I’ve have made guitars since 1979 as a young electrical engineer, and professionally since 2004. But without doubt or question your early videos played a big part in me setting up my KZread channel with my grandchildren close at hand. I thank you from South Wales UK. Keep up the posts. Mike.
I started actually building guitars instead of dreaming about it because of you. Glad to see you post again.
why aren't you teaching your masterful skills to the gibson custom shop. I haven't seen this channel before, am so pleased it popped up, I adore gibson les pauls, and this video is a lesson in so many ways not to mention the pleasure it delivers. I'm in Australia, I'm speechless. Please teach the new generation of custom guitar builders, your skills are simpley too valuable. Sir, I am blown away.
Thank you for coming back. Your vids are my number one source for building guitars. I’m on guitar number nine now, and I still refer back to your walk throughs.
I have all your videos saved, and reference them quite often. Just one of the many that are thankful for your videos! So happy to see you back!
He's back and I bet he's got new pencils too. I've learned alot from him. Looking forward to this.
As a woodworker and finisher and guitar player. that's what I call Pride of craftsmanship, well done

Lovely work, as expected. Good to have you back!
It's great to see new videos. i built my first guitar watching your telecaster, stratocaster and lespaul jr series. You are an inspiration. Thank you very much!
Beginners make things look difficult, and masters like you make it look far too easy. Thanks for your awesome walkthrough videos.
Hell yeah, I'm so glad to see a new video! I learned more from your builds than any other place on the web. Hope you're doing well and find time to keep building and inspiring!

You sir are an Artist in their prime. Amazing work, and the attention to detail is astounding. As everyone has already said, it’s great to see you back at it again. Please keep the videos coming.
Good to see you back on KZread, David! I'm not the first to say it, but your previous build series guided me through my first guitar builds a couple of years back. An invaluable resource!!
I'm SO happy to see you're coming back!
The king is back. Thank you for inspiring me and countless others. Can’t wait to see what you build and I look forward to learning from the greatest luthier on KZread.

The bloke is a genius. If you think his video’s are good, his building courses outshine the video. A good bloke to boot.
Holy smokes. He's back! Welcome back good sir. It's always a pleasure to watch you create guitar perfection.
That was so relaxing and therapeutic to watch this build start to finish. Wonderful job my friend
I'm so happy to see a new video from my favourite builder! Fletcher really shows how important it is to have the right tools for the job.
It's good to see you back at it!! Really enjoyed this build video, nice work as always!! I just wanted to say, you are the reason I build guitars to this day. I watched your first series around 9 or so years ago and learned so much. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great information over the years. It has helped many DIY luthiers and builders like myself. Cheers!
Great video Fletch, nice to see you back after a while and still creating beauties
Stunning! Absolutely beautiful!!! Good to see you again!
Wow, so glad to see a video from you. Missed you. I’ve watched many guitar building videos through the years from other great builders. However I dont know what it is exactly, but your craftsmanship, attention to detail and an eye for what is beautiful is one, if not the best I’ve seen. This guitar is perfect in every way. Beautiful!!
Lovely work as always. Congratulations.
Thank you so much for everything. So glad you’re back!

It's so great to have you back! Guitars RULE!
Welcome back! Such a great channel, very inspirational and informative! I learned so much from you! Just wanted to say thanks!
An exquisite instrument, and one heck of a return to KZread! Delighted you are posting again. I’ve just been made redundant, but having stashed a few nice pieces of wood in 2008 for a rainy day guitar build, I now have time and the inspiration to tackle the project. Cheers!
I chanced on your channel 3 years ago- went right down the guitar building rabbit-hole. Good to see you back making new videos and thanks for the inspiration!
its been ages. loved this video. thanks for the hardwork in creating this vid and posting it
So glad you are back. Your videos are such an incredible resource.

Glad you're back! First guitar-making videos I came across on this platform where yours, 9 years ago! Keep them coming! Cheers
Wow. David, this is such a great video. Thank you for coming back to KZread with this beautiful creation. I have serious shed envy. Ha!
So good to have you back! It's been a long while, but it's really nice to finally see another video of your outstanding work. The 59 is a real beauty, gorgeous... tbh it's more appealing to me than the original it's inspired from... but your guitars usually are! Keep up the great work, and keep adding content, please!
Same here! I have seen Fletcher’s videos dozens of times and helped me to built 2 guitars. I couldn’t be more happy to see he is back and upgraded to CNC. It does helps a lot, but still a lot to think and care about the process. Cheers from Brazil!
Wow so cool to see a new video in here, thank you !!!!
I can't believe you're back, man! Thank you so much for uploading, I remember watching your videos back in highschool and dreaming about becoming a builder myself, now I'm in the process of building my cnc machine and soon I'll be making my own guitars.
That was very enjoyable. What a beautiful guitar. Mind is blown at how much work goes into one of these pieces. All the machines, and patience make for a incredible result. Thank you.
So glad to see you back. Exceptional as always. Be well.
Unbelievable. So good you're back!
Very impressive. I appreciate attention to details and experience.
As fine as any guitar has ever been crafted in history. Exquisite work!
Heck yeah! Absolutely killer! Worth the wait! I would have never thought of using the router for the fretboard binding.
Incredible workmanship!
So happy to see that you're back on KZread! You inspired me to start building!
So happy to see that you're back on KZreadland as Uncle Doug would say. It's nice watching you utilize the advancements of technology to your benefit. The fact that you're able to produce amazing instruments both by hand and with the use of a CNC machine is a testimony to your amazing skills!
So good to see you post again!
Glad to see you back. Love watching your videos.
Beautiful! And I'm glad to see you post another video. Like others have said, you planted a bug in me. I've never made one from scratch yet, but I've built kits and rebuilt guitars and enjoy it.
Amazing work!!! Beautiful!
You inspired me to start on my first guitar build. Love everyrhing you do.
This was hypnotic to watch. Great work!
I have tried twice to make a Les Paul but one had a weird neck joint the other a LP Jr with a shim. Hvae made hundereds of other guitars includind a D 28 but never got a LP right. Been doing this for 40 years now. Good job. I like a simple mortise and tenon. Also some beef at the neck/hasdstock join.
Great build! Amazing skills!
Outstanding work
Welcome back! I have watched your Corvette build videos so many times!
So Glad to see more videos by the master guitar builder, I learned so much from you and your videos. Thanks Again for your expertise. Hello again from Vermont, USA. I'm the guy that sent you the ball rollers for doing binding a few years ago. take care...
Welcome back! Very impressive video!
So glad you are back. You also inspired me to build guitars. I can't thank you enough. You totally Rock! And that guitar is gorgeous!!!!

Wow. New Fletch. Must watch on the TV at home later, after work. Nice to see you again.
I watched when this first posted in June and I was like "Holly Crap, He's Back!" I'll just echo so much of the positive responses and say I too watched and learned from your videos when I was trying to improve and learn and to this day you have changed and improved my builds. The feedback below from other builders and big and small is absolutely the coolest thing I have ever seen underneath any KZread video. Well deserved and I'll be watching.....always watching..... KZread just got way better! Cheers
Oh My God!!! I've been waiting for this moment for a couple of years!
You're back!!!! Yes, I love watching your work!

Great to see a new video from you again!!!
Brother, I am so glad to see you back on KZread! Even if only briefly. I started building guitars about 3 years ago after having been a player for over 30 years. Your Strat Build series was one of the first things I watched on YT. I have since watched the entire series several more times. I have learned so much from you. Thank you for what you have done for me! It's changed my life man. ✌️
I’m so glad you’re back. Your an incredible talent.
