Building a Cafe Racer - 1979 Yamaha XS750 - The Rusty Toolbox
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
With all of the garage's cars taken care of, it was time to get a motorcycle project. My cousin had an old 1979 Yamaha XS750 he needed to get rid of and I was ready to get back in the game. Follow the build progress as I work toward making it into a comfortable cafe racer/tracker canyon carver.

Awesome work man, I just bought a 77 xs750 to learn about working on bikes with. Can't wait for the next video. That bike looks great!

Hey I’m in Utah as well! Looking forward to episode 2!! I’ve had my ‘78 XS750 for about 2 years and between school and work it’s been moving slowly.. Did you have to do any rust treatment to the inside of your tank?

I've got a 1979 XS750. It seems like the tank was coated from the factory. No rust treatment required.
Want another one?
