I stopped in to see these guys unannounced a couple of years ago and even though they were busy they took time to not only explain everything to me and answer my questions, but also gave me a factory tour! They are awesome!

What would happen if I added a piece of sheet metal across the opening that you cut out for the pan? To protect the bottom of the pan and to stiffen the barrel structure? By the way, very nice video. Thank you.

Hey John! There's no need to stiffen the barrel structure, AND you actually want the fire licking the bottom of your sugaring pan for good heat conduction, so I wouldn't add that piece of sheet metal. Thanks for the question and the compliment!

That’s a great video, I have 100 large maple trees flagged for my first season this year I’ll be happy to tap 45-65. The pan you have do you sell those? I like the one large pan vs two smaller

Hi! We don't have a Sapling Kit, just a DIY Seedling Evaporator Kit. However, we have had customers size a Sapling Pan to a barrel with the help of a Sapling Stack Flange. Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions!

@@vermontevaporatorcompany I was hoping to see the process of laying in the pavers and making an arch or baffle design. I’ve been able to answer my questions via other videos, but was just curious as to why you didn’t show the whole process from start to finish.
