They do make metal valve cover replacements, which are much cheaper than the OEM ones. Same with the transmission pan. As well as the expansion tanks.

Yes, and much much easier to install than the OEM or plastic replacements since the bolts aren't integrated into the cover. Highly recommend!

500 crank is possible, def not 500 wheel without a pure stage 2 turbo, stage 2 gives about 360-380 wheel

what wheels are those?

my 435d f36 does actually have an oil dipstick as well as electronic measurement, are you sure yours doesn't have a dipstick? Cars are on same platform, same year too actually.

When he says the serpentine belt slipping off can cause all sorts of problems one of them is destroying your motor. N54s can actually suck parts of the belt into the motor and clog your oil pickup tube... not a freak thing either I've seen it at least 10 times working at BMW.

Put the aftermarket on one side and the factory wheels on the othe other. You can't see both sides at the same time. I used to work for a company that would recondition wheels and we would advise if the customer (body shop) bought two wheels from us and the shade was off by a hair. The car owner wouldn't notice it if the 2 new wheels were on the same side

@@AAAHHAHHHAHAH The N54 has forged bottom end and can handle more boost with stock internals. The N55 has proven to have rod bearing issues and when you ad boost they tend to put a hole in the block. Just comparing stock to stock the N54 can handle more power.

That's normal for N engines especially to leak that much oil. The turbos won't last more than 120k miles :s

Audi does the same thing with the oil level. You have to run it a couple minutes, turn the car off, check the MMI. And then there's no dipstick. It's crazy.
