This video is how to built this detached 24x24 pole barn garage / Barndominium DIY. Wood was super expensive over the Covid 19 pandemic but I did my best on scouting wood prices. I wanted this to have a second floor for guests to come stay in as well. Currently what you see at the end cost me $18,000 not including my own labor which consisted of nights after work and some weekends for four months. I ordered all of my lumber in September of 2021 through mostly big box stores and purchased all of my 7/16 and 3/4 cdx plywood from a local company that was going out of business. I paid $20 for 7/16 ply and $22 for 3/4 ply. All the OSB was $17/sheet from lowes. Siding I bought from ABC Supply.

Includes everything! $4k for the pad and the rest was material, rental costs, permits.

@@thestateofreal2533 love the energy. Get out there and make it happen vs on the couch 🤘 ..similar energy got me to 3 rental properties and quitting my W2 at 27. No family but we'll see what happens next. Cheers

@@LarsWiersholm great work! I did the same! Had 3 rentals by 25 and have sold all but 1. We will own our dream home we bought 4 years ago in 9 months. It can be done!
