@@asherjones1 I had an obs Tahoe for about 6 years, had 5.7 vortex and was a great truck till I could no longer find a ball joint that wasn't made of plastic and only lasted 6 months. Unfortunately sold it cause I couldn't imagine driving it with tiny wheels 🤣

@@Sneakdisscommentbelowvortec. And HELL YEA! Man I had a 95 2 dr Tahoe 6 lug HD 4x4. 20x14 American forces wrapped in 35 in nittos. Man you wanna talk about someone miss that truck! But maaan lemme tell ya lol I got offered a PRISTINE all original 87 base model firebird ttop 305 4 barrel car! Yea it was bye bye lmao I only paid 2 racks for the truck (I did do about a grand worth of break work) but swapping for something like that was a no brainer and shit that’s the car I swapped for my current small tire street car. Only money I’ve put in this car has been suspension and cutting weight and that car has been 150mph on 28x10.5 slicks as is on 112 Sunoco and the nitrous plate that was already on it. So while I miss that truck dearly if I could do it all over again I wouldn’t change SHIT😂😂😂

You should put a high 4 headlight module on it so when you turn on the high beams the low beams stay on I believe i got mine from lmc truck but it was a long time ago it's still works it's a. nice touch

Man what a clean 1993! Definitely digging that disc brake kit for the rear, definitely want to change out my drums for those. With having bigger rims, the wheel cylinders definitely don't like them. Build looks great!

Wow nice job guys! I have always loved the 90s chevy fullsize trucks because of their looks, durability, easy to work on, and cheap for parts, and not just because I have a 1991 C1500 either.

I just got done watching the mini series on the two door Tahoe and that thing turned out awesome! I absolutely love the color of it and this truck! They need to bring it back in some of their newer trucks for sure. I found your channel from Cletus and that Camaro you got from him. Just a warning if I ever see it out in public I'm taking it!! LoL I live in California so you don't need to worry much but I am jealous as frick of that car and the Tahoe and now this truck also! Y'all know how to make a sick ride and I really dig the older'ish ones you have chosen to do! Look forward to seeing what you guys do in the future for sure!!

Man this truck is gorgeous. Wish I could afford to restore my 1991 stepside from top to bottom. At least in the looks department because that 350 V8 is still running strong. Love my truck. Got my truck at 16 and this February I can say I've had my truck more than half my life. 17 years 💜💜 I'll keep improving her and refreshing her as I can. Don't ever plan to let her go.

Thats an awesome feeling man OBS life4life! I've had my 1990 extcab 2wd 5.7 V8 since I was 21. I got all the parts in my garage to make it new again with an aluminum block. Watching these guys treat OBS trucks like this give us motivation to keep on truckin. Peace to everyone!

I use POR15 products a lot. Love em. They recommend a top coat but I'm not sure it's necessary on places that aren't being hit with UV.

54:50 - When separating the two pieces of the housing for the wiring harness pass-through, freeze it before then smack it with a hammer and the goo will shatter and be much easier to remove.

Truck is perfect, ONE GRIPE and idk if it is the lighting or not, but the paint on top of the intake doesn't match.. Looks more green to me. Has to be the lighting... Man what a bad ass truck great job!! It's a dream to do something like this someday. The gauges are so cool.. Everything. Spec fucking tacular!!!
