@Jay, can you tell me I was right? About a year ago I commented that you should come out of retirement and do a show, I think you will and you said "not a chance." And now look you are getting ready for a show. 😄😄😄💪💪💪💪💯💯
"Not everyday is a rockstar day." To hear Jay say that, actually that is a GREAT point that really resonated.
In 1986, I was in highschool. I knew Sly was in town as he had just married Gitte Nielsen (Brigitte). I'd been training in the greatest gym in Copenhagen at the time and on that Monday, I was told that Sly had been there in the morning hitting the weights!! He was the number one movie star in the world at that time, so I skipped school on Thursday and sat in the gym from around eight in the morning. I guess at around 10, Sly came through the door with a bodyguard, I was star struck, but managed to get a good workout in -that is the workout that stands the clearest in my 39 years of training🤟 -keep up the good work Jay, you are an insperation🙌

Wow, 62 is pretty cool. And to be bulking uP at age 62, this is very nice too. Imagine, being 100 years old looking back at your 62 year old self. You would think, wow, 62, that was such a long time ago. I was just a baby then, still growing.

Jay.. im a 71 yr lady I been inspired watching your details w the weight sets & moves but I use my light weights for my smaller muscle abilities. Keep up your videos & thank you for sharing. You look amazing & your time appreciated.

I'm 50 in 4 weeks time so this has come at the right time and it gives me motivation too get in great shape Jay is so inspirational his information is fantastic what is amazing is Jay is so clever he's had a fantastic career one of the best Mr O of all time but he's not in pain or badly injured and can still train at a high level not many can do that take care buddy

I also love how you were using the preacher bench for the dumbbell raise. I’ve also done the easy bar tricep extension on this the same way as well which felt really great as well. EXCELLENT ‼️👍

Turned 50 in February and getting back into the gym after a year off. Tore my distal biceps tendon away from the bone. I am on TRT now and the size is coming back. You're a great inspiration for me.

@@usa174 Reached over the tailgate for a 20 pound box. It was physics. Dr told me most of the repairs he does for that injury was for the same reason. So lower your tailgate LOL

I was 7 years in 85, and i might not have seen it that year, but it was also the movie that impacted me the most, along with movies like Rambo! But Bloodsport was number 1 !! You are killing that shirt Big Dave!! and you was also the martial arts expert. both you and Jay have done great!!

Realizing that Jay has always had big legs as he was sitting on the tire and pointed out the bike rider you got a shot of how humongous they really are.
your content keeps ME motivated as you talk about all the difficulties life can throw at you and how you get through it and always keep focused on all the stuff you need to get done despite all of this going on. Its also great to hear about all of that and notice still how you train at 100% - like none of thats even there. It reminds me to push through my life and kills a lot of my excuses to get to the gym like: ah yeah the pros just eat and train, i can never do that, i have a job - well so does J, and a business, other commitments, travel and shows too on top of which you make ALL of this content - so thanks for killing my excuses like that. Secondly, I take inspiration for my own training programs from your videos. Again, like you said a lot of trial and error has gone into what works for you and that seems to work well for me also. Ive never had any decent chest until I saw how you trained, now I have changed my chest, arms and legs for the better and my back, just crazy the changes, all through the row movements and t bar that you show all the time for that thickness! So thank you for all you do, all your content, for being a real person and so busy, yet still making time for all of us and time to train!

Jay, I’ve noticed the same thing about rope press downs on the knees. I feel you do get a better feel and contraction. The only way I do them now. Jay, you may want to experiment like I did, got a tremendous pump. So when you can’t about do any more, reverse your grip on the rope and press more forward and down. 💪😎👍

And so noble, just a verry nice guy. Its bizar that he and Arnold are still verry noble, and don't walk next to their shoes, the both are stil relax, with all the fame and have so much mony, but the talk never over mony, just normal people talk, its really weart iff you think about it. And i am big fan from Jay and Arnold the only to BB with the greatest fysic ever. Greetings from a big BB fan from Holland, and do BB since 1985 so i now a litle bit. Sorry for my bad English.

Hi Jay, love your workout videos! You always inspire me to kick butt in the gym. You look great, keep up the great work. Im 53 years old, and im now training pain free, even with a torn left rotator cuff. I try to goto the gym 5-7 days a week, even if it's just to do cardio and stretching. It's a habit for me now and I love training at the gym. Take care. - Mike from Westborough MA.

My arms are 19 and a half inches getting them to 20 inches so when we battle on the master’s stage love you man

Arnold had 22 inch arms and when they had a pump they where 24 inches. That is amazing.

Could you make an educational video about anabolics? Maybe what you use now vs when you first started vs your peak Olympia shape? I know it's a potentially personal subject but I think it would help out a ton of people and save some kids from making stupid decisions they later regret

It's definitely better to control the weight and remain still to get the most activation. Jay was just fluffin and pumpin here, and he uses so much volume, he can cheat a little. Those spiders are CRAZY with strict form, pump is insane.
