What a Pack! I wish more builds had packs like this. Packs that take about 15 or so minutes to complete leaves you empty and disappointed, not to mention feeling a sense of being over charged. You wait 4 weeks for a Build to arrive and poof - your done in 20 minutes! This was well worth the wait and the cost!

Hi Wayne.. I forget if you watch the 'Secrets of the ....' series on the Yesterday TV channel. Buses have been mentioned in the Secrets of the Transport Museum' series. They've also done Imperial War Museum and London Underground.

This is a stunning model, a real eye-catcher, I've been to London loads of times but my biggest regret is that I've never been on a bus whilst there. We had the same buses in Glasgow but the corporation busses were green cream and a kind of orange colour. My Aunt was a clippy on the buses so I used to go out with her and get a hurl in the bus whenever she was working. It's amazing how these models bring memories flooding back, I don't think it's just all about the building of them or even the displaying and intricacy of them, for me it's the memories. You no doubt have many fond memories with the Peugeot it sparked memories for me too, and as you see the bus has also brought thoughts back also the with movie-related stuff, it could be who you were with or a particular time in your life when something in the movie touched your heart. I believe building these models could beý good for us, they help you with motor skills and also with your mental health through following the instructions and bringing memories back. So you are promoting something I believe is good for us all, not just bus service.

I love these buses. A friend of mine had bought an old 70s one here in the USA and put his bar's name on the side and uses it as advertisement. They were going to use it to take customers from bar to bar to bar (they owned 3 around Indianapolis) but it was so old and difficult to drive no one wanted to mess with it LOL

You need a proper Routemaster T shirt to go with this build Wayne . The LT Museum in Covent Garden, has a few different designs .. but one in particular stands out .. it has a part cut away view of front of the bus on the front & the rear of the bus on the back! (My son bought me one for Christmas a couple of years ago)

Dear Wayne, another excellent tutorial & build. I must admit that the woodwork on the flooring does look like a child's toy, although a bit of paint work to 'weather-it-up' would not go amiss. Best Wishes Johnny

Magnificent! I have probably travelled on this very bus when I lived in London and know that the construction of this model closely follows that of the real thing! The only thing that's missing so far is the sliding windows in the cab as, despite the vents and folding screen in the front, they were very hot inside without British style air conditioning (open the windows!)

Another excellent video and a great pack. The seats are great except for those screws in the middle of the backs … many who built this as a Harchette part work glued their seat backs on & filled in the screw holes & either painted over the filled holes or got some burgundy sticky back plastic & re-covered the backs of the seats (the real ones had several different seat back coverings during their life with LT). Alternatively some people just painted the black screw heads grey to blend in better with the existing backs. Also the silver seat supports should be maroon coloured like the outer walls .. so many mods that can be done such as the aluminium kick plates right around edge of the inner walls & floor is not really true colour either .. because it was cork and timber clad .. also if you want to eventually put mirrors & lights under your Routemaster to show off that wonderful framework; then the underside of the floor should either be aluminium coloured or black depending on your own personal preference

hey Wayne, I'm just curious if pinched wires will be a problem for electronics...I accidently pinched my wire for the power plug on my zero model when putting the right-side skin on the fuselage and want to be sure I didn't break anything. Also, I'm curious if your left elevator is a little tight when moving it up and down? with mine it's not only rubbing against the body, but the right elevator seems to pop out of alignment when I move it up too much. Lastly I am looking forward to getting a replacement stage 79 due to the counter sunk areas for the brackets and the speaker are too deep I can't attach my speaker
