Thank you so much for this amazing video. When I was just a young man. I was 22 actually. I bought a 1986 Pineralle Cantina. I believe it was. It was a chromoly tube frame. But I didn't care. I raced it in Cat 4 for 5 years and loved every minute of it. I will always love that bike. If I could only find another one. I will always cherish the training days with all my buddies. Not a care in the world, other than getting in as many rides as I could. I would work so that I could race. There was never a bad day on that bike. Once again, thank you for the journey back in time.

In the middle of the 80 years a dream came true and I was able to buy my first pinarello racebike. The same frame and color as this one in the video. Unfortunatly I don't have this racing bike anymore. But two years later, in 1988, I bought a Pinarello Mountainbike and I still have it. I restored it 2021 with lot of love and now it is in my living room and is only driven by good weather.

Just beautiful. In the early 80s when I was about 18 years old, I bought my very first Italian road bike ..... a red Pinarello almost identical to this one. Outfitted it with Campy Super Record components, a set of Mavic wheels and Wolber tubulars. I could hardly afford it but I didn’t care! Spent so many hours riding it on the country roads of central California where I grew up. The vineyards, the orchards, the foothills, and that amazing Pinarello. Thank you for this video and the memories it brought back to me!

Mi primera bici era un cuadro artesanal con tuberías Oria (que todavía lo tengo) y tenía los mismos cromados y el mismo color, según el artesano el color era "rojo pinarello" ( cosa que nunca pude comprobar).

Estupendo montaje. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 además usando todo material de antaño, topes de camisas, guía del cable del cambio trasero, sillin concor, tubulares Vitoria corsa cx, etc. Gracias por compartirlo, me he teletransportado en el tiempo. Si te sobra el dinero, en eBay seguro que encuentras la bici que quieras. Y si no, metiendo horas en las webs de segunda mano, y con paciencia, aparecen joyas a buen precio. Algunas para restaurar, y otras que sólo necesitan limpieza, engrase y cambio de consumibles.

Buenas! En eBay compré yo el año pasado una Bianchi Sprint (gama baja) de los 70's, con todo campagnolo por 350€ con envío. Es ir mirando precios, en wallapop también suele haber cosas interesantes, aunque como lo retro se ha puesto de moda, es difícil encontrar Pinarello Treviso (no hablemos ya de las Montello), Colnago Master primeras generaciones etc... por menos de 400/500€, pero el caso es buscar y esperar. dab restauración , he visto en una página de Berlín, Steel Vintage, unas cuantas, pero menudos precios, eso sí algunas espectaculares. Merece la pena asomarse y ver. Gracias por las contestaciones.

Beautiful bike. And a beautiful video to watch. But some small things bothered me: My OCD was highly offended by the "sloppy" handlebar tape wrapping around the levers, and the grease in the bb and the pedal axles seems to be missing, which will eventually lead to future removal attempts being a total nightmare.

Oh my- I didn't even know Campagnolo had made Super Record in a triple chainring variant. Imagine trying to find a small chainring! Normal one's are almost all gone now.

This is a replica of the Battaglin bike with three chainrings made just for the stage of the Giro in the Dolomites, from the three peaks di Lavaredo, in which he was made with the pink mallot. That bike is in Treviso, and if Campagnolo and Pinarello made several replicas of the bike, like this jewel that shines so well ; )

This bike was really easy to assemble kzread.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

Does the triple chainring version have a different shifter, with a longer throw? A different front derailleur? Rear looks standard- I'm surprised it copes.

Unfortunately it is not the original color, I had to paint it again, as it was very deteriorated and I looked for the original color of pinarello. The client was very satisfied with the work and that is the most important thing for me. Thanks for leaving your comment friend ; )
