Build a Wheel Arch with no Welding | BMW E30 Widebody - Episode 2

In this Episode you'll learn how to give a sheet metal the look of an original wheel arch. And this with no welding. Just one sheet of metal is enough for the entire fender. No individual parts and no welding. I will show you which tools I used for this fender. Check out the steps to craft a flat template into a bended part. And why a bead roller is a good choice for bending the edges, also how a Stretch- & Shrink-Machine and English Wheel bring your work on the next level.
Transforming the BMW E30 318is - A Widebody Odyssey Begins! Explore the classic design enhanced with wider wheel arches and stunning wheels. Follow the car build along as I bring Ralf's dream to reality, showcasing every detail of the handcrafted metal body kit process. See all the steps from making a template to bending the sheet metal, welding and the final smoothing. The series is a big How-To Tutorial for all E30 owners and other enthusiasts of craftsmanship.

Answering on what tool is most important tool: fantasy and therefor brain. I like your videos because you describe the things you do in a good way. I like that you explained how much work it took to do the wheelarches. Hard to appreciate when yuo see a car in carshow or driving around. Waiting for the next video.

Hola.
