    I would be carefull of those fans. When they give up the ghost in the middle of the night they will burn your whole set up down. They are not rated for the heat of a Kiln. I would put a smoke detector in the kiln that is hooked up to shut it all off if it goes off. Most motors are designed and rated for 40 degrees C. (104 F) The insulation on the windings will degrade with constant high temp. The bearings on the motor need high temperature grease. Also when the bearings heat up they have to have enough play for expansion . Ask me how I know.

    hi how about the dehumidifier part do you not have water sitting on the ground i am looking into building the same set up but i will be drying pine will i have any issues with water puddles? ahould i also put a commercial dehumidifier in there?

    We are drying lumber all under 30% moisture content, most under 20% so there is not a huge amount of moisture or need to maintain a high RH when drying, so no we do not get any water puddles, all moisture is vented out the end.

    Carriage bolted, not lag bolted. Lag bolts are pointed, carriage bolts use nuts.

    @@CanadianWoodworks I have had personal experience with replacing lag bolts the wood deck contractors drove in using their framing hammers. On new home construction! (I did callback repairs for the builders)
