I WAS THERE! I pulled up in my 2001 Pontiac Aztek with no muffler, and wanted the $28.99 oil change special. They all stood there staring at me while the dude in the back said "get that POS out of the drive bay, it's ruining the shot!". The real service guy told me they only service Buick. True story.

They're actors and that puppy cost more than their pay, so probably not. Edit: They'll all dressed well, look professional, act professional (not rushed, stressed out, or on the phone), don't wear clothes with any visible logos, and seem to all enjoy the same generic coffee. If these were normal day-to-day people, you'd see a lot more variation in appearance and attitude.

That way they know what everyone looks like, how they'll act, and how long the commercial would take to shoot. Relying on random people would create so many uncertainties, it wouldn't be worth it. And most Buick owners I know are quite old, definitely not the types of people pictured in that commercial.
