The CHIRON Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ is a timeless and incomparable homage to the era-defining moments in BUGATTI’s history. It is the very embodiment of the BUGATTI Sur Mesure program - in which customers’ ambitious visions are brought to life in a collaborative process with the BUGATTI design team. In the case of the ‘Golden Era’, the unbridled passion for the brand - spanning over a century of era-defining moments - helped shape the customer’s vision for his masterpiece.
Not only did the customer choose a CHIRON Super Sport to celebrate BUGATTI’s legendary W16 power train, an engine unlike anything else in the world, he wanted to pay homage to such a beacon of brilliant engineering to craft an aesthetic form that brings to life a story weaving through time, legend and distinction.
And so within two years, the CHIRON Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ has been created; a unique piece of art that beautifully captures the incomparable legacy of BUGATTI via 45 intricate sketches of the brand’s timeless icons, all hand-drawn directly onto the body.
The sketching process took more than 400 hours to complete, a testament to the complexity of the artwork featuring entirely new techniques and processes that elevate the car from the world of automotive and into pure artistry. A bespoke color, a celebratory shade of gold named ‘Doré’, was formed and applied with a gradient color split into a special metallic variant of ‘Nocturne Black’.

It's truly amazing to have been able to witness the incredible things Bugatti have accomplished over the last 20 years. In the future I believe this period in time will be looked upon as the greatest era in automotive history.

They should keep the engine for next bugatti,next bugatti should make 1850 ps from the w16 engine + one new helix super ultra power density e motor that only weighs 41 kg with the inverter but makes 850 hp,it should be mate on the 10 speed multiclutch gear box,and it should have 10 kwh CATL condensed matter battery tech with 440 wh/kg in pack which means next hybrid bugatti's battery will weigh less than 25 kg,over all electric system on next bugatti will weigh less than 70 kg combined but it pushes the power to amazing 2700 ps hybrid bugatti,with new lighter chassis and carbon fiber front and rear subframes it will weigh as chiron ss but with 2700 ps hybrid powertrain,they should unveil the beast in 2026 geneva motor show,it will be the winner combo.

@@davidfujkk8018 I agree...and I could probably see them coming up with really good electric technology now that they are partnered with rimac. I think that keeping the W16 is a no-brainer since it is an integral part of their identity, and they may even end up just going fully electric after this next iteration.
Every time I see an Chiron spec I say to myself it can’t physically get better than this but every time I am proven wrong what a gem of a car

In the future we will see better combustion engines than ever before. Combustion engines will make a comeback when the billionaires get bored of electric. Just like when rich people got bored of the quartz crystal watch and started using mechanical again.

When did rich people ever buy quartz watches? It thought it was always mechanical. But you don't buy mechanical watches for their performance, you buy them for artisanship. @@MKu64 I'm saying it wouldn't be worth it. I don't think anyone is making 700-800+ HP manuals other than maybe Pagani. At some point the automatic is so much faster that it just doesn't make sense.

This is truly an artpiece that combines both the amazing bugatti history and also that mind boggling performance from that w16 engine. It makes me sad to think that in a very short time, these masterpieces are going extinct and we are not going see the crafting of these ever again. But the thing with Bugatti is that their specialty is that they are able to craft such masterpieces that breaks barriers to other innovation . We are not going to forget these machines even in a million years. Thanks Bugatti for all these masterpieces and who knows what’s coming in the future.
