All of boxbox youtube clips are old actually. It's not surprising considering the quality of the editing is this good. You could just see it from how his recent clips never had the Rageblade counter on it (the one who told you the amount of stacks) despite it being out for weeks.

@@ey.9329 (it’s patched as of now so Dw about seeing it) but basically the bug was that you have your regular astral board but during planning phase you make 9 astral by putting in one stars on your bench to “toggle” the astral 9 trait and then you roll for basically free components and it lets you get best in slot for everyone basically. It was patched out since now you need to do one round with astral 9 in order for it to take effect during planning phase

@@punkingx2740 mostly correct but i believe you had to have Astral in for at least 1 combat, as the shops and orbs you get are based on what you had in during the last combat, I believe people got around this by just putting in 9 astral during a mob round

Asol probably wouldn't be so bad if he didn't scale into infinite by default...not sure how they thought that was totally fine.

Except he doesn't? The increase in size and DMG is only once, hardlocked behind (currently) 18s in which you can very easily die, plus it's pretty much BiS items as well. The DMG he deals at that stage is fine imo, the issue lies in astral toggling both enabling him BiS items for next to no cost AND decking out every single Frontline unit, thus guaranteeing he's getting to the 18s threshold. Had my fair share of Astral 9 games (no, not toggling, regular 7 astral units played every round), and you're so fucked if you don't have the proper Frontline decked out to survive 20 seconds if the enemy knows Anti Asol Positioning to protect his carry

I think it’s when you get 9 astral and you down grade all of your 3 cost astrals. Bc you can always get them back but with 9 astral you get an item component so you literally spend 10 gold for one free item component

Have 1 star astral units on bench, play the ones you want (like illaoi and varus or nami) and when its the prep round you put the other ones on board, making you have 9 astrals. Roll a bunch and enjoy free components + ASol 2. SO weird that this wasnt immediatelly recognized and fixed, but its fixed now fortunately

Astral toggling is an old bug that has been patched, and it works basically because the higher Astral you have, the better drops you get from astral orbs. so it involves putting in 9 astral for 1 combat, then that means that all your astral orbs will drop Astral 9 loot, even if you no longer have 9 astral (as the astral drops are based on the amount of astral you had in the previous combat). Then you roll down a shit ton of gold, and get a crap ton of items.

Karma's dead target missed ult it's not a bug, Mortdog explained it, it's intended to not do damage, just like Varus ult when the target dies the ult disappears

Regardless of whether or not it was a bug, they made it so if the target dies while Karma's Q is in mid-air, it'll still do damage in the aoe where they were this patch (12.15). So it obviously wasn't something they wanted to continue to happen.

i believe the issue is not with Karma's main bolt, but with the AOE it creates, and I believe that her Fizzling has been patched

if it says anything about how game breaking Astral toggling was, I also had a Shi Oh Yu three one game, it was the most free first of my life, an unbeatable board, while BoxBox gets Shi Oh Yu three and Neeko three and its actually close wtf Also for anyone curious about my Shi Oh Yu three board it was an Ezreal reroll game, so Leona, Ezreal, Karma and taric three, with Ashe and Lee Sin

That was not rly the argument there, while shyv 2 def is anything but negligible, having SOY 3 and neeko 3 should've been auto win. The loss was more heavily on SOY being on the wrong side paired with good Zoe RNG

Taking blind advice is never good though. It's always good to challenge those thoughts, if the coaches can explain why a certain play is better then boxbox learns that in the future. To be a good player you need to understand why certain plays work

he didn't even go over his head tho? he followed most if not all the calls Aesah made, he's challenging them for sure, but If a coach cant explain why a play is good (which Aesah 100% can and did) then you shouldn't coach. Both of them are good players, and there's never really one correct play.
