I was working on a construction site across the street from the warehouse studio during the filming of Buffy. They gave us a tour of the interior studio.

5:57 they did show that shot of the street during the day. Xander caught up to Buffy as she was going to fight Angelus, and that is where he tells "willow's" message to "kick his ass."

My husband is buried with his grandmother at that cemetary. It's been used in many movies and tv shows.

You're very welcome! I'll be moving there in a couple of months, and while there isn't much else of the Buffy world to film, I may just cover Angel locations, True Blood locations, etc.

WeirdMinnesotaGuy.....do that weird minnesooooottta guy😬Land of a 1000 lakes right. I'm from a location in the states that can be 100° on Christmas but 32° on Christmas Eve. Does anyone know where I hail from? Who gives a shit anyway I guess. I know I probably wouldn't. Angel locations first please. I'd ✔ that out for sure. I wish I had the 💰 to visit those locations myself. I guess even if I did the corona with lime virus would prohibit me. Prohibit and corona in the same sentence.....and a completely different set of circumstances. I am so tired of hearing about this taste like piss without a lime virus. Everybody is freaking out man. This just proved me wrong about our society as a whole being able 2 handle a crisis.....or measures of a apocalyptic doom come to pass.....or god forbid and alien invasion. Even 4 just a moment. A single minute of not having 2 listen to all this crazy virus bullshit. People chill out. I now have to drive all the way from Texas to visit Buffy locations. @marmaladekamikaze Definately Torrance High School (1st Sunnydale High). It hasn't changed a bit and so much of the first three seasons was filmed there.

It's called the Kenneth Hahn State Recreational area, which is just south-east of Culver City. The bridge they walk across is at GPS coordinates 34.008349,-118.370095.

All interior scenes of the library, except for the pilot, were filmed on a set inside the old warehouse at the corner of Olympic and Stewart in Santa Monica (which was torn down in late 2010.) According to IMDB, the library briefly seen in the pilot is the actual library at Torrance High School, although you'd need to check with a current / former Torrance High student to verify that. :)

The Kenneth Hahn State Recreational Area. Good eye! According to Wikipedia, MMPR filmed there, too.

wait! do you know that bridge in the first episode of season 2 when Buffy gets back to sunnydale, Xander and willow talking then a vamp comes behind them do you know where that was or was it just a set?

Ah, that isn't a bridge, although looking at that episode again, I can see where one might think it is, since the ground isn't lit and just looks like a void. That location is in the Angelus / Rosedale cemetery and you can see me at it beginning at 3:36 in this video. The wall Willow sits on is fake, the street lights behind the fake wall are fake, even some of the tombstones behind the fake wall and fake streetlights are fake. (There's a great deal of fake in LA.)

I know the sets are gone and Buffy's Backlot is now apartments but do you still some how have that address?

It's 1800 Stewart Street, Santa Monica Ca (it's in the video). If you want real trivia, the "address" of Decker Hardware is 5119 Main Street, Sunnydale Ca. You heard it here first lol. Days gone by.

the never film at the cemetery at all , they did a replica of it on the parkinglot where the film the show indors, my husband was working withe the cast and crew of the show back then, and hi set up the parkinglot to loke like the real cementery!

You mean the place he had before he was in the big mansion? That was just a set inside the warehouse on Olympic Blvd.. I never liked that place, nor the first place he was at on Angel. Those two places just didn't seem....grand enough for a character as cool as Angel. I thought the mansion and the Hyperion suited him better.
