I loved these guys! It's a real pity the sound got so distorted whenever my guitar went to the "dirty channel" for low chords ...God Bless Burke, Steve Williams and Paul Cox! Such lovely lovely people and dear friends to this day and I will miss Burke every day! They wanted a more "modern" guitar approach and Budgie and Dio did a concert in 2005 and they remembered me from that and they simply wanted me to fill in for a short time until they found a new member and Burke asked for me for this tour to and each and every other tour in which to bring a more "modern sound"....we had a great time and we really loved being in a band together.....in fact we were writting for a new album called "Hybrid" but our dear Burke passed way too soon! we were all so close and I had the best time with them! I miss them terribly!! I must say that anyone with a problem with my guitar approach to these songs you really need to take those still left behind and give them grief if you must. I did what they asked me to do!!

Fully agree, understand. Popularity breeds lameness. I know it sucks for their bank accounts, but...
Lucky to see Budgie eleven times. Mainly in the 70’s and 80’s. Last time was in Colchester in 2006. Superb live band who always gave 100%. Sadly missed. RIP Burke Shelley. Their music will live on.

It will live on, not just in their own tunes but also in the music of those great bands that they influenced. Rip Burke Shelley.
This is an awesome show with their best songs 👌
This is still a big world. I have never been able to see Budgie live because they just didn't make to the US that much, and when they did it was always Texas. Now since Burke Shelley has passed this is the 2nd full show I've seen. Thank you so much. Great sound...great video. And I think Goaldy shredded it on "Parents".
A true hard rockin hard working band, thank you Budgie.
End of an era with Burkes' passing. What a rocker!! will be sorely missed!! RIP man
Wspaniały niedoceniany zespół.Nie ma słabej płyty z epoki.Nawet "If I were..." z Black Velvet jest fajna - inna.

Travel well Burke - we are gonna miss you x
Saw Budgie in 1979 or 1980 in San Antonio TX. They came with SuperTramp. They kicked ass, the original band that is.
Be super nice as a Budgie fan if Tony were still in Budgie.
I just within the last few years have gotten into Budgie. Amazing band.
R I P Burke a great player and inspiration to me you will be sadly missed

thanks for this, nice to see a full length video of Budgie on here.
Went to a Heaven and Hell concert in San Francisco just before RJD passed, wore a BUDGIE T -shirt that night. I got more comments on that shirt. Everyone had nothing but good things to say about BUDGIE. They were truly one of the pioneers of Hard Rock. And yes, they were a very under rated band. I know they were huge here in the Alamo City...
Thanks for this ! A special band that needs this to promote there AWESOMENESS !X

I bought their first 6 studio albums as they came out, still got them, and still listening to the CD's in my car. Unfortunately I don't think much of them live ( sorry guys).... can't hear Burks brilliant bass rifs.

YES !
Craig Goldy a great guitar player. Fabulous. ...and a great effort to keep Budgie flying here. But?.....not for Budgie. The guitar stylings of Bourge relate more to a guitarist of different techniques and effects like say.... Tim Sult of "Clutch". Anyway....Budgie is All at Sea now and R.I.P. Burke Shelley Thank you.
