Ah FC is such an underrated brand! They’ve really invested in their watches and their in-house movements. I would put their higher tier watches in the same category as Oris, Longines, etc.

Affordable is a relative term. I can only afford to watch Watchfinder.

I flipped when i heard the price of the FC flyback chronograph. I now have a goal to aim for!!! So similar to my Patek dream watch .Thanks watchfinder im sold on it

I’ve had one for 2 years now, slate grey dial, an absolutely lovely watch to say the least! The pushers feel fantastic, the box crystal gives it a nice vintage feel. The only complaints that I have about the F-760 are its case-size, at 42 mm I have been giving less and less wrist time since I got my BB58 earlier this year, and the date sub-dial at 6... gives the dial a slightly crowded look. Other than that, fantastic watch, much bang for the buck.

That FC is stunning. Your video certainly does it justice! Speaking of low(er) cost chronos, I'd love to see what your camera work would make of a Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G.

Frederique Constant is a good brand. I just don't understand why they don't offer something under 40 mm. The size really puts me off.

Agreed. They make traditional designs favoured by the WIS but then skews their watches to sizes that appeal to a younger crowd.

I think under 40 is to small for a Chrono, on a normal sized Wrist. Even most Patek Chronos are a like 41.

Glad FC is getting some positive coverage, I always thought they offer great bang for the buck. I have several Omegas a Rolex and Tudor and I still wear my Peking to Paris FC as part of my rotation!

Great Video as always. I would be happy to see more often Oris watches in your video. Someone here suggested to make a video about Pilot/Flieger watches. If you intend to do so, please add the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Big Date.

Could you look at doing a video of some two tone watches. I can't help thinking that they're looked down on somewhat when compared to steel models. I'm looking at a two tone submariner black but am intrigued as to why they deprecate when compared to their counterparts when (in my view) they're stunning watches.

Baltic’s bicompax chronos are great value, too. I was lucky enough to get the balticxwornandwound LE and can confirm that it goes well with pink shorts and linen shirts!

The tudor big block has always been a great watch for the money. And looks a lot better then most of tudors current models.

The problem is that GS chronographs are way too big and thiccc. In some cases it needs to be big enough for all 3 subdials, a date, a power reserve indicator and a GMT hand, which then translates to a diameter of 44.5mm and a 17mm thick case, because the movement is humongous, has a 3-day power reserve and is automatic. Maybe in the future, with the new batch of updated spring drive movements, they can reduce the dimensions of both case and movement, but at the moment it's for the large-wristed enthusiasts.

DutchClawz I bought a non date sub off the shelf for £2250 in ‘06. If you index link it, today it should cost £32250, say +£1000 for improvements. Now it’s about £6k. Rolex aren’t worth the money they’re priced now.

You need to cover the monolithic manufacture.

FC is stunning piece. Unfortunately it's just rose gold plated and power reserve is just 38h. No better version available. So Breitling Premier B01 it is.

Well the Patek Philippe counterpart is 41mm...so I think 42 is a good match. Chronos in 42 dont look big on a normal sized wrist anyways.
