Hi! I was in that exact area while travelling in Penang a few weeks ago. Nagore refers to a small town in Tamil Nadu in South India. Many Indian Muslims migrated from that part of India to then Malaya in the early and mid 20th century. It is pronounced as "Nah Goor". Thought you and your viewers would be interested to know. Good health to you sir ! I know you have ties to Florida so you can relate to this. I was searching hotels in the Clearwater/St Pete area yesterday. Weekday, Tuesday to Thursday, 1 person, no pets, cheapest I found was $195/ NIGHTLY ! Took my breath away. I think you’ve touched on this so forgive me if you have. Do you find it less expensive to dine out vs. cook at home ? Glad you had a good trip! Good to have you back posting !!

I was there 12 years ago and it did not look that nice. I did spend less by sleeping out and eating in the temple use to be 8 ringet for a banana leaf on the street 1 more for milk tea. Nice relaxing video .

Having the sink in the hallway is great, taking you kettle into the toilet to fill up is not the most hygienic especially if you have guests that don't put the lid down. I did not like Penang earlier this year but most things were shut so after watching this I will give another go. Anyway great video again. The ice cream has got me.

Stayed in one of those dingy joints, close to Loke Boon Siew' mansion. Walking on the streets with my now late mother in the middle of the night as if in an era before her and then the very next day had a local filled us in on the juicy details. Preferably not revisiting.

Rockafeller's is great! I like their Chicken Pesto Pasta. They have locations in Langkawi, KL, and Genting, too, I believe. If you like coffee, be sure to go to Lokl Coffee in KL or Ome by Spacebar Coffee in Penang. I also had a good experience at the Evergreen Laurel hotel near Gurney Drive. Ideal location for easy access to most of Penang, in my view. I got a seaview room at a decent price :) Keep the videos coming!

Thanks, to answer your question, it depends. If it’s somewhere like the mall, they are spotless and constantly cleaned. In a small restaurant it can be not as good but honestly I have never been disgusted by a restroom here. 😊
