Mark, I’m finishing up my HO 4 lane track for friends and family. I watched and read a lot of opinions and reviews regarding controllers. Needed to up grade from toy units that came in my set. Just needed sensitivity and brake adjustment. At a price that made sense. This video clinched it for me. So I ordered 4 of them. The owner , Steve makes and tests each unit. My question to you: what are your base settings? And I enjoy your videos. Thanks

Thanks! So went with the TruSpeed? The settings really are an individual thing, one persons setting may not work for someone else. I will say I find the sensitivity to be good at between 2 and 3 for most cars that I run. I would start with a 2 and adjust from there. As for braking I am always changing that, it's up to you how quickly you want the can to stop when you come off the trigger. You can start with the brakes set to the middle setting and adjust up or down depending on the car you are running.

$89.00 is not a bad price for the features you get.

Please check the track voltage at full throttle with each controller. It's quite possible that the TruSpeed drops the voltage more than the other controllers which would make the car a little easier to drive.

I just checked the voltage at full throttle, the TruSpeed was the same as all the others, 18.49 volts. I have my track set to 18.5 volts.

How does it compare with Os3 Pro Eliite controller? Does it have coast? Nice video. Thanks for sharing.

The TruSpeed compared well against all of my controllers including the OS3 Elite. The model I was testing did not have coast but they do have an upgraded model that has coast. Thanks

I think it should definitely be on the list of controllers to think about, i was impressed with the TruSpeed.
