Agreed!
The editing to this video, in an attempt to consolidate, what must have a significant amount of recording, is fantastic. Hats off to you sir. Thank you. Great info. 😎

Really appreciate this comment. Few people realize how many hours and effort go into editing these videos. Thank you!
I converted my 1992 Chevy Silverado rear drum system. Just like he said you don't need to pull the axles. You do have to grind the edges of the calipers as it will rub on the inside on the chevy rims. MAN I LOVE MY NEW BRAKES - THAN YOU FOR AN EXCELLENT VIDEO
Thank you for putting together such a well done straight forward video. Full concise but complete instructionals such as this are rare and appreciated. That alone makes it worth the sub. I don't mind entertaining instructionals, but having one that goes efficiently and completely (not ignoring details) from A to Z is very refreshing.
Great video. Perfect job of showing everything needed. Thanks
Solid video man! Probably the most helpful conversion video that I have seen.
love the video. straight to the point. no long talks
Very nice. Straight to the point. No BS. Thanks
Added to my GM How to library. Thanks a ton for all of your work.
Excellent video! Simple, and to point! Thanks for doing that!
Great job! tons of info in a fast efficient manor, delivered in a clear easy to understand voice. Thats a talent!
Favorite disc conversion video!!!
thanks a lot for the video. ! Most definitely one of the best how to videos I've seen. Feel more confident in doing this swap now. Thank you 🙏🏼
Wow! Clear pictures, proper and complete commentary and great editing. I subscribed halfway through the video. I wish more videos were like this one! This is the best I have found on rear disks for an OBS hands down. Great job! Going to start gathering parts for my 94.
saved money and time on delivery glad I found all this at the auto part store.. thanks
Been wanting to do this for a while, and now starting to see more kits decently priced! Thanks!
This was incredibly detailed! Thank you for sharing.
Great video, lots of important details in a video that's quick and easy to watch. Very nice.
Perfect video. Quick and to the point. How an install video should be, especially if youre already mechanically capable. Great video bud! Instant sub.
Maybe the best editing I've seen in a how to video. This was fantastic.
Super video. I now have the confidence do execute the conversion on my truck
Covered the details very well. Continue the good work.
Great job. This is a major help to those that DIY.

Thanks brother! Much appreciated
Thanks for the step by step process, going to start this project on my obs as well 👍
Great video! Just what I was looking for. I'm also upgrading the rear breaks on my 92 Silverado
I’m converting the brakes on a K10. A different set up of course, but still many helpful tips. Good, concise video. Thanks
Great Video. This helped me a lot.
So clean 🔥🔥‼️
Great video very clean install
Well done sir. Everything is to the point and no BS. Keep sending out the videos brother. Catch you on the flip flop.
Thanks for the how-to brake upgrade project, well done sir.
You did a very good job describing every part of the install... Now I want to do my own 2 door Tahoe!!😂
Dude…… nice job man!! Love how you worked around little issues, drilling/tapping etc. I’m a toolmaker/machinist and super picky about who I take info from on projects. Getting ready to convert my rear drum to disc on 1993 GMC K2500. Learned about Cunningham Machine and bunch of other stuff from this video, thanks man!!
Good video I’ll be doing this soon thanks to this knowledge you shared
Exelant job well done I also appreciate the editing...👌
Great video, its what I have been looking for. I own a c2500 with 6 lugs and a 14 bolt rear, and this kit would be a perfect fit. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting the video. I recently bought a 93 OBS. This will defiantly be on my list as the stock breaks are marginal with a 350cu swap.
Nice job on the video. Well documented 👍
This video is priceless. Thanks 🙏🏾 for this. Great reference material ‼️ 🛻 💨‼️
Great job on making this video actually helped me on doing this
Dude, you nailed it. For anyone who has worked on their own trucks knows what your doing, still if you need help it ain't the whole thing haha...great job on tutorial ,especially the parts list and where to get them and your opinions on the products and services. Man I'll be following you for more.

This is a awesome video, I will definitely be doing this conversation
Lots of good info thank you
Nice video. Good stuff. I bought a kit from lugnut 4x4. Haven’t done the swap yet. Now that I saw this video. I’m going to need brake line and a brake line bender and hopefully don’t run into any snags. Great video.
This was awesome
Great tutorial 👌
Awesome video!!! Thanks
Ik it’s 10 months ago but I’m doing a nbs master with the rear disc conversion and putting a lsd while I’m there. Helped out a lot bro. Solid vid for sure.

Should notice a huge improvement in your brakes, NBS master alone is going to be a nice upgrade
Great video.
Good work!
Outstanding.
Thanks for sharing this video.
Great vid. I am keeping my rear drums but, will install a NBS master cylinder.
This answers a lot of questions I had. Great video, just the information, no garbage. Drum brakes totally suck and have no place in this century. But that 'spacer' on the pad is an anti-squeal shim and should have been left there, it wasn't added for fun.
Nice video bro
Great video
Great video. I’m thinking of doing this for my 97 Tahoe z71

You will not regret it. The difference is day and night...but at the same time ...don't expect them to perform like 6 piston calipers
Awesome vido...great info
Fantastic dude thank you. Now all I have to do is save some $$$.
Wonder what rotors to use for 4x4 k series
Great job
Yeah Im gonna stick with drums lol
Can you help me with my 1997? LOL! That was a great way to do a video you're a genuine guy helping us out thank you.

Thank you
gran trabajo , gracias
I'm probably going to stick with drums for now .. however i will be replacing the master cylinder. I have had the tail end of my truck swing out on me in wet conditions so I will be leaving the rear abs connected as well
Nice video
Great video. I'm not sure that I would use brass adapters though.
I wish I lived close to you. So you could help me do this. Thanks for the video. This will be a BIG help.

Thanks.
Personally the biggest change in brake feel for me was stainless braided hoses in the front, and from the frame to the rear end. There have been quite a few if those trucks that I fixed that way with no other modifications, as long as everything else is working corectly

You bring up a good point. I should order some and install them to see if it makes a difference with the upgraded rear disk brakes.
@BrockGrimes

@@KingsWeldingandAutomotive If you swap to braided steel lines, make sure your brake seals are in good shape if not the added pressure will cause them to leak. Pretty common with drums and wheel cylinders, not so much with disc. Just a heads up for those who don't know.
That's a sick upgrade
Nice details, Leo did u change the proportion ing valve?
FYI to those planning this job, if your pulling the axles you dont need to dissasemble the brakes like he did. Remove the drum and then the bolts holding the brake assembly on and it will come off as one piece.
@KingsWeldingandAutomotive

I meant to leave a comment on the video about this. It would have been quicker to pull as an assembly. Thanks for pointing it out.

@@KingsWeldingandAutomotive This is actually one of the few systems I have seen where they said you dont need to pull the axles. I thought that was interesting. Cutting the backing plate off wouldnt be an issue for a torch or a good cutting tool.
Do you have a part list for this modification. Very good video. Thanks
I really appreciate the time and effort. I own a 94 k1500 blazer 4x4, is it worth the conversion. If anyone out there has experience with both brake systems, I would appreciate your input.
Video shows 5 lug rotors. Will it make any difference using 6 lug rotors for my 93 K1500?
Well that settles it , I’m doing the conversion
I got a quick question I know both axles have 30 splines on 90 model and up but are the six lug axles and 5 lug axles interchangeable? Can you take a 6 lug rear end and put five lug axles in it
Any idea what I could need to convert my 1995 c2500 8 lug to disc breaks can’t find anything
This rules. Some of the conversion kits out there cost way too much. This looks better than alot of them too.
Ok. Now to learn how to do this with an in depth video lol 😆
