BUDGET Chevy Big Block Build! - Part 2 of 3 ( long block assembly )

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Work continues on the 460ci big block chevy (454 bored 30 over). In this episode we'll talk about head gaskets, heads, and compression ratio. I'll also show you proper rocker arm geometry, how to measure push rod length, and how to set hydraulic lifter preload. We're inching closer to putting this on the dyno, and getting it installed in the 1972 Chevelle known as "Independence".

Derek pulled the ultimate Columbo, here is a “feller” who uses any blunt object to “tune” a crusty carb while pretending to be real simple like, and then posts a video like this and just gets into the technical weeds like he is tying his shoes in the morning. Doing this build for what most would consider a scrap car makes it all the better. I aam a recent sub and have to say, Derek is a genius with practical blue collar common sense. Best damn channel on KZread.
