    Great video! Thanks for sharing our Crusader 2.0 with others! We do have a thicker padding available as well it’s a personal preference. Good job on showing how to weave the Molle straps people need to know how to do that!

    Yea I really dig the look of the multicam black one. It's pretty sweet. I decided on Ranger Green mainly because I already had a carrier in multicam black. Thanks for the support!

    I personally prefer MALICE clips over MOLLE, so if you get a chance you should check them out. Thought the video was fairly good. I haven't seen anyone else actually weaving straps before so that's good stuff for anyone who doesn't know about how to do it.

    Thanks! Yea I am eventually gonna run some stuff with MALICE clips in the future. Will likely do a video on that as well and maybe even one down the line breaking down my opinion on pro's and con's of both. So stay tuned!

    Condor's MOPC is a great budget choice aswell. Been running two different one's for over 5 years and ive been pleasantly suprised. Even has a feature or two thats beter than my agilite k19 3.0.

    Yea I saw Condor's MOPC and was not fully a fan of how it looked. But the price was definitely within my range. I almost pulled the trigger on it but decided to go with Yakeda's quick release plate carrier for my first carrier. Not gonna lie but basically bought it cause I thought it looked cooler then the Condor vest. Lol

    Hey man great video! I have a question, I’m looking to get my first plate carrier I’ve been looking at the yakeda or the crusader 2.0. Do you think it’s worth the extra money to buy the crusader or save the money and get the yakeda.

  • @TacticalNewbie101

    Thanks for the comment and support! I personally suggest the Redemption Tactical Crusader 2.0 over the Yakeda personally. The Yakeda was my very first Plate Carrier and it definitely served its purpose for the price. But if you are looking to get something a bit better over all then The Redemption Tactical Crusader is the way to go. Side note though, if you're looking for a PC that is a clone of some of the Gucci stuff out on the market. I would also suggest the Krydex Low Viz Slick Plate Carrier. It is pretty much a direct clone of the Ferro Concepts Slickster. Clone gear is great cause if you do transition into the Gucci you will already have the reps in the clone gear so moving to the Slickster from the Krydex clone will be a smooth transition with muscle memory. The Tacticon Armament Battle Vest Elite is another clone for the Agilite K-19. Quality is good with that one as well. I would suggest watching the videos for each and making a decision based on what you need in a load out. Prices are comparable for all the carriers I have featured so far on my Low Budget Loadout videos. The biggest issue is there are many options for good budget gear so it can be hard to choose which is really the best.

    @@TacticalNewbie101 I’m looking for a plate carrier I can try and test what I like so when I get something Gucci in the future I will know what works for me. I don’t want to underspend though and have a plate carrier fail on me and lose out on 70$. Do you think a yakeda will last long enough to test what I like? 1-2 years with it max.

    The Yakeda PC is a great starter carrier. It generally comes with everything you will need essentially right out of the box. The Redemption Tactical PC might require additional gear to add to build it out for what works best for you but installing kit/ gear is a great way to learn how to install MOLLE and other gear attachments. The Krydex Low Viz Slick carrier as it comes to clone gear is almost as good quality wise as the Gucci Ferro Concepts Slickster PC (I have some Tactical Comparison videos comparing the 2 plate carriers quality and in may going to feat a full Gucci vs Budget Loadout comparison of these 2 products just to show how similar in quality they are. The Tacticon Armament Battle Vest Elite is almost a direct clone of the Gucci Agilite K-19 from what I'm told but I haven't yet gotten a K-19 to compare them myself just yet (will be a future video soon) There is also the PETAC GEAR V5 Plate Carrier which is a Clone of the Gucci Ferro Concepts FCPC V5. From what I heard the quality is pretty comparable as well similar to the Tacticon vs Agilite quality similarities. All of the PC's listed are fairly comparable in price and quality and are all good options for a first time Plate Carrier. If you are eventually going to go the Gucci route I would recommend getting a budget carrier that is very similar in design to the Gucci one you want to eventually upgrade too. Especially if you plan on training a lot with the budget PC. Hope that helps! Thanks again for the support!

    Is this airsoft only or durable enough for carrying 556 mags and steel plates

  • @TacticalNewbie101

    @TacticalNewbie101

    Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for the comment! Honestly it's fairly durable and rated for carrying steel plates. Redemption Tactical sells their own plates (10×12) and from the reviews I have read they are of good quality. I would assume 556 mags fit into the compartments just fine but I personally have not put 556 real steel mags in yet only airsoft.

    How do you like this compared to the Tacticon? They seem very similar!

  • @TacticalNewbie101

    Thanks for the comment! I personally am a big fan of the Redemption Tactical Crusader 2.0. Maybe it's just nostalgia for me because it was the first plate carrier that I purchased that I felt was of a good quality. I currently am running the Crusader as my SHTF plate carrier and the Tacticon I am still in the process of fully building out. So for me my Redemption Tactical PC is #1 with my Tacticon PC as a very very close 2nd. As it pertains to similarities both PC's are honestly more different than you might imagine. The only thing they really have in common is the quick connect buckles on the cumberbunds and shoulder straps. But even those are different as it pertains to connection and removal. Another similarity is that they both have the ability to run a "battle pack" that attaches directly to the carrier. I just got the Redemption Tactical battle pack and will be posting it very soon in the future on this channel. So look out for that!

    bin the plate carrier you don't need it, much better solution is a MOLLE chest rig

  • @TacticalNewbie101

    Thanks for the advice! Down then line I am going to get a chest rig as well. In my opinion it's always good to have options and I do absolutely agree that a good chest rig is ideal for a lot of different tactical applications compared to running a plate carrier.

    You did your molle wrong, you want the last line at the bottom to be behind at the snap, probably doesn't matter

  • @TacticalNewbie101

    @TacticalNewbie101

    Жыл бұрын

    Yea, I noticed the straps were a bit tight right from purchase so I didn't have much play to drop the button strap behind to then snap. I am hoping as the material softens some through use I will eventually be able to pull it under to snap. I tried using needle nose pliers after the video and was not successful. So hopefully in time they will loosen up. Thanks for the comment!
