I have Swift 2014 vdi(1.3L DDIS) odometer is 120000, mileage if i maintain less tha 2k RPM, mileage is 18 to 20, highway mileage is 23 to 25 depends on the ridding RPM. No issues in engine and ac til date, only timing chain replaced, now i have to change the suspension. I don't get the same trottle response in 1 liter petrol engines even with turbo too. had a plan to buy polo tsi, i was on double might about the production, excepted as it is. Now planning to get 3xo diesel variant. I don't like to drive petrol engines.

To all new car buyers, Diesel cars are totally safe to own. You will have better mileage and torque compared to petrol. BS6 Norms are very strict and engine is friendly to environment doesn’t pollute like before. Remember FC is provided for 15 yrs. if you have time check Mahindra Velu sir interview with Moto wagon team thought about future of diesel cars where he mentioned clearly. So diesel machines can’t be banned in India totally not possible in next 15 yrs. PS: I’m proud owner of mid size SUV diesel CRDI engine.

Hello Sir, myself & my brother have been following your videos. These are really helpful. Need some expertise. We have Kwid AMT car aged 3 yrs, recently we went for a long drive (40+) and the car stopped with a "general warning light" in the dashboard and we were not able to accelerate. We had to stop it for 30 min later the warning light disappeared after that we left it in the nearby Renault service centre, they serviced it and said that its a programming fault so we brought the car home, but again after travelling 35 kms, again car stopped in the middle of the road while running.. it disappeared only after 30 min. We raised a complaint with renault they are yet to come, but what is your thought, pls advise. Service enginneers were not seeing this error while they check but coming only after 30~40 kms drive. Thank you for your advice

@@rrkatheer@a1entertainment573 just for information Before purchase the car my taxi driver friends clearly explained the old tata car problems and it's service problems but once after tested with many drivers they suggested to take this vehicle over (old)boleno at that time . people are not kind of knowledgable they may have different view and mindset everyone looking different aspects in car may expect looks, performance, reliablity, driving feel, more safety, someone expect value for money If nothing is there in that vehicle people will not buy like mass volume ... earlier Nissan datsun , Renault cars drop it's sales numbers and we don't see much cars on roads.. If some one driving new tata cars in highway daily he is the one who satisfied 200 percent. My experience is mixed and not totally against Tata brand but have to sacrifice something to get something... I heard torque is low at 2nd gear to maintain mileage that's why facing these issues and vehicle also more than 1 ton weight it is trying hard to pull its own weight . Tata cars won't show its characters while it is brand new users will notice reality after 20k kms run .and not only new buyers many automobile knowledgable people also confused due to excellent and mature driving dynamics and attractive design in tata cars and tata motors following ALFA platform which brings modularity and highly adaptable to construct the vehicle but the problems are popping mainly from manufacturing unit like missing precisions in components, assembly line fitment issues .. quality assurance team blindly put sticker tested ok .. service team has no adequate training in service and less salary to mechanics..till now tata motors not addressing and steam line the process ..once heavy drop in sales hope they will ensure the vehicle are ready to meet consumer demands in near future.

I think going for petrol car is the best option, because of maintenance and bs6 norms...

I am using Altroz xt diesel which is giving the mileage of 25 to 30 when i am going to salem most ly in less traffic in chennai apart that fully highways (I will stick with the rpm 1800) But in city 10 to 15 only

@@ProperQA-bp2vq simple justification you can do buddy. Just give for oil service. Check the items of spares they changed... When Oil service should change oil filter also if you give 2nd oil service with a same service center. They should change Air filter also. Or kindly compare the user manual and spares which is mentioned in the manual Second point is a myth to sell Maruti and Hyundai. The marketing executives will say and the same will continue by the customs also. Our Big family circles using Tata and Mahindra vehicles from 2000 onwards. I mean sumo, indica, indigo recently Tiago and marazzo from Mahindra. Kindly decide yourself and buy. I too agree Tata having service issue but Mahindra won't have any service issues you can keep service at outside of the company services also. I mean local service station also.Reply me if you need more explanation.
