Budget 928 Track Car: S2 Headers, AC delete, and more

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In the 4th video on my Porsche 928, I work on various modifications on my cheap track car. The headers I am using are from a 1987 Porsche 928 S2 and the new rims are from a 996 era 911. Let me know if you like this video format. Thanks for watching. Like & Subscribe.

good work, it looks like it's coming out great. seeing the 928 sure makes the 944 seem more simple

What size are the wheels? Just curious what size wheel tire combo are you plan on running up front?

I believe these Turbo Twist rims are 18 X 8.5 inches. My plan is to use 235/40R18 performance tires.

@@Rurik_JustCruzn I’ve got the same wheel and that size tire up front, 265/35-18 in the rear. The 265 looks great but I get occasional rub, but it’s also been lowered. I was trying to run a square 255 on a 17 but it’s pretty wide up front.

I believe they are 18 inch rims. Next time I make a video on this car, I will report the exact size.

@@Rurik_JustCruzn I have a set of 18s with 265/35-18 on them that have rubbed but I know people who have run wider with no rubbing. Mine is lowered though. I also got some turbo twists in 17x9 in an attempt to run a square set up. 9” is a little too wide for the front, so my next two will probably be 17x8, or 17x8.5. 18s isn’t quite enough rubber for me but the 265s look great. I believe you can run a 275 on the 17…
