You got it right. He was born to spread pure love with his hands and voice. The amount of talent on that stage in this video is staggering. I just want to cry for joy. I hope Buddy lives to be 150 years old, he needs to guide the new generations and keep the blues alive, its his real mission in life.

Good stuff right there! I've love to catch one of these Blues Cruises! I've saw Buddy two times, Marcus three times, and caught Kingfish for the first time last night in Chattanooga.

So much respect and admiration going both ways here. This is epic. God bless Buddy for allowing these young people to shine, and Lordy how they shined.

Nice to see, young kid with manners, polite, smart etc... and that golden voice, so off you go!

I have seen all four of these guys play- and I will say that Mr. Sipp is my favorite. He has superb guitar skills (won IBC). His voice is amazing (gospel singer) and his entertainment level is just something to see. They are all great, but if you get a chance to see Mr. Sipp, you wont be disappointed.

Buddy Guy is truly committed to continuing the great blues tradition working with these outstanding young musicians and others like Quinn Sullivan. Touché for Buddy, thank you sir!

I had the pleasure of seeing Christone Kingfish Ingram earlier this year in San Francisco... By far the best lead guitarist I've ever seen (in person or on video), and I'm a huge fan of SRV, BB, and Jimi (who were all better all-around guitarists/musicians, but none were nearly as good as Christone when they were 18 years old, so the future is very bright for this budding legend).

Ankur Gupta the legend might not be as good as Kingfish when they were 18. But keep in mind that the legend pioneered/invented the skills and techniques. The later guitarists can copy and build upon the established skills. This is huge advantage. So just because Kingfish can *play* better at age of 18, doesn't justify that he's better than his predecessors.

Ankur Gupta he definitely is great and is keeping the blues alive. And I’m a big fan. But you seem to have forgotten the other prodigy’s. Jonny Lang at 13 and Kenny Wayne Shepherd same age. They’re all grown. So what about them? They’re older now so they don’t count. Happens every time.

Saw Vanessa years ago and Mr. Sipp last Aug. at White Mt. Boogie & blues, both Great Musician, they’re in with the Veteranns now🙌🏻🙌🏻

From Vanessa Collier's data sheet for her latest recording, Heart on the Line, Buddy Guy said: “…Came onstage with me… I forgot where I was…but she’s playing an alto sax, and man, she was amazing!” Kingfish is a very humble young man...after playing for 1 1/2 hours in 90 degrees @ the Winthrop Blues Festival [7/19] he took the time to chat with well over 100 peeps and never "hurried them along". At the jam that same eve, he sat by himself w/ his axe and played [unplugged, of course] along w/ whoever was on stage when he wasn't up there...

Great to see Buddy has taken Kingfish around with him!!!

Getting Buddy Guy to smile at you like that at 18 years old... Man... Kingfish is incredible.

Thank you Mr. Guy for making this possible for the upcoming generation to shine like never before!

I’ve seen Vanessa, a long time ago and knew she would hit the big time & is a real sweetheart we saw her at at the Boogie & Blues in Mass, Mr. Sipp at the White Mountain Boogie & Blues in N.H. I’d love to see you all this coming August, We’ve seen Eric Gales, there, and so many other great artist🙏🏻🤘🏻🥁🎸🎤🎼🎹 Ging Fish has all those great attributes to be a Great legend along with every person that’s on stage Marcus, Mr.Sipp. etc.

Being in the audience, watching this live, would have been like a magical experience.

When Buddy Guy was a young gun, jealous older artists and Chess management with a complete lack of vision slowed his career. He should have been huge, he's the greatest guitar player of all time. Ask any of the great 60s blues guitarists who influenced them and Buddy Guy will come up. He was Jimi before Jimi, Clapton before Clapton, and the best looking man on the blues circuit and the Summer of Love . Instead he was driving a tow truck to make ends meet as a session guitarist and then working smallish gigs until Clapton rescued his career. Contrast that with his behavior, introducing and nurturing and boosting talented young artists like Samantha Fish, Quinn Sullivan, Markus King and Kingfish - probably the best of a truly great crop of new blues and blues rock guitarists. Truly a great human being. Just notified today that Kingfish's first album is finally on its way. Woo hoo!

We will never know what BG could have been, but his influence is so apparent in so many artists. Now he's passing the torch to the next generation of blues artists. There is just a camaraderie amongst blues players that is blind to color or age, male or female. Long live the blues!

Different to Kingfish but equally as good musically. I think Kingfish has a better sound (more old school) on the guitar but agree Marcus has the better voice. His WHOLE band is phenomenal, Rita is Gone is an amazing song. Both are the new legends paving the way! Marcus's style is more Derek Trucks sounding who is also a fricken legend.... So much talent around. We're extremely lucky.

Yeaah clearly, I think he's one of the best for me, I'm not saying that Kingfish is bad, I love him, but Marcus King has something more, he adds a lot of different colors with some jazz stuff, he's blowing my mind every time I'm listening to his stuff

both Vanessa and Christone are playing Springing the Blues Festival Saturday April 6th in Jacksonville back to back twice and it's FREE! I have not seen Christone live but i will tell you Vanessa and her band will kill it.

She reminds me of B.B. King’s old sax player, Evelyn Young. She even has the physical features. 👍🏻
