LOVE THIS! What a great conversation. Thank you. I was studying Buddhism a lot 20 years ago, and I remember the Dali Lama saying that this world was, "ruled by the jealous gods." He also said that sound can transform this world for the better (whether music, spoken word...or just listening with an open heart & mind.) Cheers, from the Southern Oregon Coast.

Years ago while traveling in India, I happened to be in the Dalai Lamas hometown. He must have been returning from somewhere or other, the whole village stopped what they were doing and all lined up along the side of the road waiting. I didn't know what was going on but stood with them out of curiosity. He slowly passed by in an entourage of jeeps, the peoples joy in seeing him was something else. I saw him waving at his people with a beautiful smile on his face. You could tell he was a special being .

Aubrey, please speak more about intrusive thoughts. It’s the only thing that’s holding me back from getting to the higher dimensions. When I go deep in clairvoyant meditation, there are extremely disturbing intrusive thoughts/images… that persuade me to close that eye back down. Speak more about your personal struggle with it; it would help us all. 🙏

There's strong evidence that we didn't hunt the wooly mammoth into extinction. In fact there were a bunch of woolly mammoth found frozen so quickly and so completely that the food in their stomachs was still undigested which suggests that some catastrophic event took place that wiped them out incredibly quickly. In fact there was a time when you could buy a wooly mammoth burger because there were so many of them found preserved to the point that the meat was still fresh.

This was my first exposure to Duncan and I appreciated hearing him share his perspective. Thank you for posting this conversation, Aubrey! 🙌✨ With that said, there was so much to comment on in this discussion, but for brevity's sake, I'll focus only on the topic of AI and its potential encroachment on humanity's place in the cosmos. When we realize our role in the creation of our reality, the limitation of artificial intelligence becomes obvious. Regardless of how much processing power is achieved and how seemingly "creative" machines become, they will never become a casual factor in the rendering of our physical experience. They might indirectly influence its creation, but without a truly conscious being to witness them, their existence is moot. At least, that's how I currently perceive AI in this now moment. 🤷‍♂️😇 Let our love strengthen our light! 💚✨🌟 Cheers, Pete

As Aubrey discusses the potential of co-creating a dystopian reality so we can have Something to care about, and therefore a sense of belonging. I think it all comes down to the fundamental archetypal quest: good vs evil. Until we become conscious of it, we have a need to be in opposition to something. I'm the "good" guy and _____ is "bad". But is that not a result of a dysregulated nervous system? When we feel unsafe, then we have to find a cause. For some, even being safe is triggering because their nervous system finds it unfamiliar, and therefore threatening. But as long as we're in that unconscious state and have determined something to be "bad", then we ascribe to separation. Paul Selig (or the Guides) would say that what we've damned has damned up back. I'm not saying to not be prudent. But can't it be that these farms and intentional communities that are starting are the web of the safety net? That we're trying out (playing, if you will) with the possibilities. Can we live in harmony? Can we live by new paradigms, and lead by the heart? And maybe these communities will find ways, and will help bridge from that which no longer serves us to an expanded awareness where we recognize love is the Way (but you can't fake it), either you're embodying love or you're acting. It's a genuine paradigm shift. In any case, we are powerful creators and every possibility exists. It's not matter of making it (whatever it may be), it's a matter of making yourself the being that would live in that reality. And that's an internal process. And if I choose love, and I'm wrong? Well, not to be nihilistic, but we all die anyway. At least I've lived my values.

Aubrey I’ve had this same profound insight with resolving the polarities of admiration & disgust! I had an experience where I experienced every occurrence of pain I’d participated in, given & experienced by others as a revelation & clearing. That was incredible. And the paradox for most People is accepting that everything is simply an experience but we project our filtered BS (belief systems & stories) upon & create meaning through the currency of those thoughts that manifest matter & form. It’s all so deep within the Trust of Self!

When I am doubting and get bogged down I definitely don't care (min 36) and I am not feeling anything, and happiness eludes me. I recognise this state now and meditate patiently out of it. It might be helpful to think of Ahriman doing his work to pull you down and back. I smiled at the fact that I have a few virtual friends like you, and we are all mining the same diverse scriptures and wisdom and sharing our interpretations. Love your podcasts and guests, Aubrey. We recently moved back to the UK from Ibiza to be nearer our daughter's family of 3 boys, and left many years of friendships behind. But I am most happy when learning and writing these days and at home. Second time I listened to an interview with Duncan a few weeks ago, and although we are far apart in age and cultural experiences, we are not in our thinking.

When I was with Ram Dass in Maui he taught to love every-one even if you don’t like them. That was during George W days. He said he had his picture on his altar so he could send love to him and others contributing to the world’s suffering.

I truly enjoy the conversation Aubrey and the people on the podcast cultivate together. I notice I am not able to have these deep conversations that are creative and juicy. I have surface conversations. I would love to immerse myself in conversation like this (or other topics Aubrey discusses) with someone. I would like to be able to contribute to deep conversation with others and be able to access this type of conversation with others. I notice one thing that stops this from happening is anxiety and not feeling confident in my own skin. I also am not able to recall the full story or topic of something I have learned. What would you suggest to do in order to grow in this? Thank you for another great podcast!

Not everyone is capable of receiving a message you want to portray. Words are a clumsy vehicle. We all have an internal library of words that describe what is considered the invisible by associating it with the visible. Not everyone's library contains similar words, not everyone can comprehend the invisible aspects to life. The average human experiences less than 1% of true reality, the remainder is invisible to them... it's why there is such a huge divide from rich and poor. 1% is super rich, 99% poor. Bc the poor can not comprehend the invisible aspects... If you want to get better at conversations, learn how to view reality through a multitude of perspectives... If you can't explain something simply, you do not understand it well enough. Study/observe it more...

@@savanna4127 you are very welcome, I understand how you feel. I was once the same, but became a wizard with words and still find it difficult to have deep conversations with others. Many can barely put their heads under the water before freaking out and coming back up for air. I can dive so deep most would drown on the way down... Gnosis is a difficult path to travel...

Hey guys, another fantastic podcast! I really love your conversations! About the "daydream of infinity," being outside of time, there forever and also reincarnating in an instant - that sounds a lot to me like something that's digital. To me, this is just another of an increasingly huge collection of clues that we're in a simulation, though admittedly, I'm probably heavily biased toward that conclusion now.

Carrots sliced to 1/4-3/8" thick, sauteed with (just a little water to help cook faster), butter, garlic, salt and pepper. When carrots are (getting) soft, remove cover (to let water evaporate), add mushrooms and onions, top off with a bit more butter, and continue until mushrooms are done. Best carrots you'll ever have. Olive oil is suitable as a substitute.

What a great conversation. I loved Duncan's comedy. Heard him speak some wisdom in a stand up clip of his. Watching this I was happily surprised to find he's spreading wisdom too. I had no idea he got to hang with Ram Dass, whose writings started me on my meditation and spiritual journey 35 years ago. I'm subscribing to his podcast & this/your channel now. It's not easy to get me to sit through 2+ hours of any talk/interview/discussion unless it's really good. Great stuff here! Thank you both
